nodep5
Mine arrived today. My sweet AM on vinyl. Oh boy!. New liner notes from Brien Henneman which are really honest/sweet. This is "my" Wilco. All of this is relative to time and place, but hearing AM on vinyl reminds me of how I used to love Wilco on a basic level. Now I kind of love the "new" Wilco in an appreciative manner. Does that makes sense. I guess to be cheesy we used to have alot in common, now we are just the same. Ha Ha. drop dead ed
I can't wait to purchase mine at waterlooooo tomorrow. I'm still waitin' for Being There which I'm sure is on everyone's "hurry up and get it pressed" list or should be at least. That's my favorite Wilco album and I needs to have it!!!!!!! LouisvilleGreg
I never knew "Being There" was hard to come by in record stores. I've seen it dozens of times in lots of record stores over many years.

I've seen it dozens of times in lots of record stores over many years. you wouldn't mind pickin' up a copy for me then...haha, seriously, you're lucky. I have to wait till late October for a reissue, or try and find one at the Austin Record Convention next week.
LouisvilleGreg
Maybe it's just been in the past year or so that it has become harder to find. But Plan 9 Records in Richmond had copies in perpetual stock for years and years. Now "Mermaid Avenue" is the hard record to find, with no reprint in sight. Glad I already have that. gabepride
Yeah, I've seen Being There on vinyl in stores several times, and picked up a copy for myself not too long ago. But I'll be buying the 180-gram reissue for the better sound quality, and selling my used copy. If anyone on here wants it, send me a PM.

I'm glad I have my MA vinyl, too. I rec'd it as a birthday present back in 2001 I think, from a very special friend. I pulled the trigger on all the 180g reissues yesterday, but I'm patient enough to wait--they won't be shipping til the end of the month.
