Guest Black Witcher
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone around these parts were interested in these types of music.I seem to be enjoying it morethan any other things that I've been hearing lately.I think it's mainly because I've been making music for a while and Ifind myself more interested in making sound than actual"songs".I've not seen much about music that is non rock on thisboard and was curious to see if any of you were into this sfuff. I guess I'll just list some stuff and see if anyone has anything to say. tongue-tied
Speaking of non-Drag City, Drag City is coming out with Luc Ferrari CD in a few weeks, always meant to pick up/find something by him. http://www.dragcity.com/products/les-arythmiques

I've never heard Xanakis. What would a good starting point be?If you're into drone and haven't checked out the Lamonte Young and Marian Zazeela album calledDream House 78'17"you should give it a try.The track "Drift Study" is amazing. It's about fourty minutes and is all sine tones. Leo
I am a big fan of Bioshpere, Jan Jelinek and William Basinski. Though not on your list, they certainly would qualify.
