Wild Frank
Its been awhile but it looks like Belle and Sebastian will have a new record out this year. They are back in the studio. A great band and one of the few British bands that seem to do really well over on your side of the pond. 'If You're Feeling sinister' is a classic album. I was really tempted to start a list (Top 20 B&S songs) but I've managed to refrain!! http://pitchfork.com/news/38094-belle-and-sebastian-hit-the-studio-schedule-festival-dates/

Guest Speed Racer
I'm a Cuckoo, Me and the Major and Piazza, New York Catcher might be my three favorite B&S songs. The concert of theirs I went to as a part of their most recent album was by far one of my favorite concerts ever. I have a lot of later stuff on this list, but that's primarily because I think they've really come into their own as musicians; they do this current sound really, really well. Guest Runaway Jim
I've never heard anything other than The Boy with the Arab Strap. I think I own one or two more of their albums that my brother left for me at one point. I believe one of them is If You're Feeling Sinister. I'll have to give that a listen. I really like It Could Have Been A Brilliant Career.

Calexico
I've never heard anything other than The Boy with the Arab Strap. Same here really and I only know that from it being used as the title music to a comedy show on British tv called Teachers.
Wild Frank
The new album is due shortly. "Belle and Sebastian Write About Love". You can hear a couple of new songs, along with some documentary stuff on their website. Sounds promising. The last album was very good. http://pitchfork.com/news/39945-hear-two-new-belle-and-sebastian-songs/
