Autumnteeth
Anyone know how the mezzanine box tickets work at the Dec 12 Civic Opera show? Have an opportunity to trade, but worried that there is no place to sit. Having a procedure done on the 9th, and got a 6 hour furlough from my doctor to see the show. Want to bring my daughters, but have to make sure if I am sick I can sit. I have been to the opera house to see aida and paglacci but don't know what the setup is for wilco. It almost looked like genral admission, and dont want to drag my girls down with me if I have to sit. Any thoughts?

sonnyfeeling
The official technical spec sheet for the Civic Opera says the Mezzanine boxes consist of "248 seats." There are 31 boxes, each with 8 seats in them. The seats themselves look to be very plush, judging by this picture: http://www.civicoperahouse.org/files/Ardis_Krainik_Theatre_credi.jpg. Autumnteeth
Call the venue and ask. I did. The venue is most defintely not pro Wilco fan. I swear it was the old woman from th Agatha Christie mysteries who answered and said I can't help you, no one can help you. Hope that wasn't an omen like she knew I wouldn't make it. Definitely a Hitchcockian experience. I an stil hear her, I can't help you, no one can. Eerie.
Guest Jules
That sucks. Well, it does look like it's gen admin to the these boxes. Must not be numbered seats? Anyway it'd probably be a good option for you if you need to sit. There are a few pair on stub hub.
