KevinG
"But the wild things cried, "Oh please don't go- We'll eat you up- we love you so." RIP Maurice Sendak.
LouieB
This is very sad news, but he had a really successful career. One of the great children's authors of all time. Read some of his books hundreds of times to my kids. The Nutshell Library will always be one of my faves and the offshoot Really Rosie was a favorite at my house ( particularly since my daughter was named Rosie.) Queen Amaranthine
It is sad, but he lived a long, interesting life. LOVE his children's books and illustrations. The Little Bear books--which he illustrated--are a recent favorite at our house.
