worldrecordplayer
Wilco did play last night, right? Can't remember the last time a show topic wasn't posted here. nalafej
Looks like a great setlist for a weeknight gig at venue with that name: No Art of AlmostBlack Moon in the #2 slot, Hesitating Beauty, Sky Blue Sky, One By One - seems very chill
idaho_pkb
Thanks to "World Record Player" for re-posting the corrected set list from Facebook. The Boise show was really good; the songs performed were excellent and worked well together. Tweedy seemed impressed that most people up front were respectful of the quiet a few of the songs deserved, and that the crowd was also ready to rock and have a few laughs when the time was right. This was a night when a smaller venue and crowd worked really well with the band and vice versa. Though I have seen numerous shows over the years all over the country (no European shows yet!), the last eight months have afforded me the chance to see the band in Nashville (Ryman), Red Rocks, and Boise. What has struck me beyond the obvious (that Wilco is one of most talanted bands touring today), is that the guitar leads are increasingly getting shared (Pat seems to be getting more leads, and perhaps Jeff has taken a few back from Nels), and that the vocals are getting better -- first night a Red Rocks had lots of beautiul singing from Jeff, John and Pat together. The band really seems to be at peak power right now. Next shows I can make are at the Greek in Berkely, and I can't wait.
