gr8fulpete Posted July 25, 2012 Share Posted July 25, 2012 I have what I think is a "very good" to "excellent" recording of last night's show. I was able to set my rig up right in front of the soundboard, and everything worked out well. It got hit once during the evening, but I haven't located any disruption to the recording yet. For Monday night, I have a recording, but its quality is not nearly as good. There were a variety of factors conspiring against me, including (1) a [clueless] security person who insisted that I couldn't record the show, forcing me to move to a less-than-ideal location; (2) the rain; and (3) the fact that I overcooked the recording levels, leading to some distortion at the upper ranges. Actually, of all of these problems, #3 is the worst (but hardest to acknowledge because it is my fault alone). In any event, I am going to try to post the shows. I'll provide a location.
