PopTodd
I was a huge fan of his films in the 1990s and haven't heard much from him recently.I'm also having a hard time finding those old flicks of his on DVD or Netflix:• Trust • The Unbelievable Truth • Simple Men • Amateur • Henry Fool I just love the pure ridiculousness of them all. The self-consciously artsy-fartsyness. And Martin Donovan was always had an amazing deadpan way about him in these that made him one of my favorite actors of the time, too.Any fans here? Heard anything about him recently? Hopefully a new feature in the works?
KevinG
Amazon.com has a bunch of Hal Hartley's stuff. Including instant renting options for many of his films (though you might have to be a prime member) http://www.amazon.co...l hartl,aps,787 I studied him in film class in college, but beyond that I never really fell in love with his stuff. Apparently his last film was Meanwhile in 2011 http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1748113/
PopTodd
I saw that, but at $40 for a used copy, I think not.

Fritz
Funny. Was just talking to a friend the other day about movies we'd seen years ago and we came around to the theme "What happened to Hal Hartley?" Some of those films made a huge impression on me at the time. Simple Men especially.
