IRememberDBoon
That must have been like catching lightning.
caliber66
Funny, I've been hearing them on the satellite radio a bit recently and I just think about how the songs haven't held up. Probably a blast to see live in 1994, though.
tinnitus photography
probably more like catching gonorrhea.
choo-choo-charlie
Oh that's funny. I went through a phase, probably my freshman year of high school, where I listened to 40 oz. to Freedom on a daily basis. I also liked some of the self-titled record. I thought "Pawn Shop" had some simple-yet-tasty guitar playing.
Moss
Next to "Sweet Home Alabama", nothing packs a dance floor quicker than when we play "Santeria". Never saw them live, not even really a big fan.

I seem to have a foggy memory of catching part of one of there sets at a college. CSULB perhaps? Not too sure... (Budweiser induced amnesia, I'm sure).

Never saw them live, not even really a big fan. Same with my cover band! It's one of the few songs I sing (normally just play lead guitar). Folks from college age to 30-40 somethings LOVE that song. I was never a huge fan either but 40 oz used to be my going to the beach album. I can remember driving down the strip or "cruising" at Myrtle Beach (back when cruising was still cool) listening to 40 ozs.
