anything
Anyone else get a chance to check out the headphones in the Loft exhibit at Solid Sound? Each pair had a different chunk of music - all of it was studio recorded and unreleased. Sounded like post YHF pre Ghost stuff. Sonically it was very Yankee Hotel esque. Didn't listen to every single thing, but I did catch all of the following: -Panthers-At Least That's What You Said-Capital City-Spiders (original version)-The High Heat-4 or so never released songs Would love to know more about when it's from, as some of it sounded pretty polished (at least a couple of those sounded 90% of the way to completed YHF style). Would really love if this stuff ever saw the light of day.
Yaz Rock
Thanks for letting us know. I didn't know what it was that people were listening to and didn't wait around for a pair of headphones to free up. Would like to have heard the unreleased stuff.
JMal
I listened to a bunch of it. A lot of it reminded me of stuff from the Wilco Book. Really cool sounding stuff. Most tracks were really just Jeff singing and playing guitar with various noise. It'd be awesome if sketches from that era got released.
replacements75
I listened to a few for a bit. One was a version of Impossible Germany (or Unlikely Japan I suppose depending).
