Mr. Heartbreak
It's in the 60s today and we are complaining a bit around the office. Lows in the 40s for the next 4-5 nights. WTF? Is it March yet? I want to go back to shorts and short sleeves every day... I moved here in 1994, and never wanted to live anywhere else until I went to southeast Asia. Beautiful weather there, too, and the prices on things are pretty darn amazing. Still, I will stay here in the Sunshine State until retirement. Some of the best beaches in the country, and I like living in a purple state. Feels less insular than my (home) blue state, but I would feel like an alien in a red state. On the other hand, the traffic here can be pretty obnoxious, and tourists don't seem to care if they are driving like idiots. It's a real patience test in the winter. As a result, I never encourage anyone to move here. Too many people as it is. If Florida had a population the size of Montana, it would be just exactly perfect. Winston Legthigh
I think most of my favorite memories of growing up in Minnesota revolve around playtime in Winter: Skating, sledding, hockey... I don't think I would ever want to live in a place that doesn't have cold winters.

Mr. Heartbreak
I think most of my favorite memories of growing up in Minnesota revolve around playtime in Winter: Skating, sledding, hockey... I don't think I would ever want to live in a place that doesn't have cold winters. That is amazing. Then again, it makes sense: summer in MN must last for about 3 days! My favorite memories of growing up in CT involve going to the shore and enjoying the sun and surf. Y'all should check out Texas
