Lammycat
Down to 19 ponies. I always like to make my pick based loosely on anything to do with the Grateful Dead. This tradition dates back to the 80s and I have not yet won once. This year, there are no obvious connections/connotations to the GD, so I'm going with a baseball reference. I select Commanding Curve at 50-1 odds. I feel good about my pick this year. If you know what's good for you and you wager, go with one Commanding Curve. Or, if you're a risk-taker, one of the other 18 losers: http://www.kentuckyderby.com/horses
NoJ
See, I always go with the horse that has the sexiest name. Im gonna have to do some reflection on this years roster.

IRememberDBoon
I had 10 across the board on Curve After reading a bunch of crap until my eyes hurt he seemed by far the best long shot to me. And 50 to 1 is unreal. Now on to the next two races!
Lammycat
How much money did that net you?
IRememberDBoon
something like 400 minus the 30 I put in I had a couple trifecta boxes with the 17 in them but didn't get the first two matched up I swear there was so much positive stuff written about the 50-1 number 17. More than any of the other long shots
