jff
I got to see him open for Pharoah Sanders in 1996. Great double bill. He had lots of good records under his own name, and plenty of great stuff as a sideman. Eric Dolphy's Out to Lunch is, in my opinion, is one of the pinnacles of recorded music, and Hutcherson's wonderful and unique playing on it plays a huge role in why it's so great. LouieB
This is too bad. Another lose for that generation. LouieB
