watchtower41
Got to Pritzker a bit late on Sunday and missed out on the skyline poster, if anyone has an extra one, I would be happy to purchase it from you or trade one of my extra Pearl Jam posters from Wrigley field this past weekend. Please email me at jeffgleich@allstate.com Cheers!
unifiedtheory
Heads up that the poster is now available in the Wilco store: http://wilco.kungfustore.com/posters/firefly-poster-wilp438.html
Ksouth2007
And... it's sold out. I was checking every couple days and missed it again. Shame, really wanted to add this one to my collection.
dobber_
Matt's other poster for Pritzker is up now. I grabbed one at the show and it looks great. Run was 390 http://wilco.kungfustore.com/posters/trellis-poster-wilp437.html Rumor has it there was one more "band only" poster made to commemorate the show for their friends and families. sonicshoulder
I bought the Trellis one at the show, now also known as the "not $250 with 38 bids and still 3 days to go on Ebay poster". I love the other poster too but that's a bit extreme. I have a poster from every Wilco show I've been to(maybe 20 something) except one Jeff solo show I believe in 2012 where the kids drew it. The merch line at the Pritzker show was easily 60-80 yards long...unlike any merch line at a Wilco show I've ever seen. Couldn't figure out why...maybe this poster is different than the others. I have the two back to back Ryman Hatch Show Print posters which were going for considerably less than this and they are from an iconic, century old establishment. Somewhat ironic because I went to the PJ show the next day where the merch culture has turned into something beyond imagination and logic. People were camping out to get band stuff, had no idea that madness existed. Btw at the end of the PJ show I walked right into a tent and bought my wife a sweatshirt that is now going for $120 on Ebay.
watchtower41
Thanks for the heads up on the wilcoworld shop drop, I missed out on that on Monday and even contacted Matt Jacobson personally to see if he had any artists prints available, to which he said no, I have to go through Wilco store. Kind of a shame they made so few of such a beautiful print, for their homecoming show. Wilco usually is not in the business of trying to limit merch for flippers to have a hay day. Ksouth2007
I did same reaching out to Matt right away about that Firefly poster. Hopefully lot of people reach out to him and he sees value in printing some more. Think the demand is definitely there.
Tweezy
Thanks for the heads up on the wilcoworld shop drop, I missed out on that on Monday and even contacted Matt Jacobson personally to see if he had any artists prints available, to which he said no, I have to go through Wilco store. Kind of a shame they made so few of such a beautiful print, for their homecoming show. Wilco usually is not in the business of trying to limit merch for flippers to have a hay day. Sour grapes? I have no complaints with the 300 run of the Firefly poster. And don't believe the majority fell into the hands of flippers. It's not like there have been, or are a ton for sale on ebay. The fact that so few have been listed is what is escalating the demand and value. Frankly, the Firely poster was twice the size as the Trellis poster. They should have and could have easily charged twice the price. It's a gorgeous piece of art.
mattsiu02
I have an extra Firefly poster. ISO Milwaukee 2009, and both Ryman's from 2011.
