As i post this my husband has been watching live Bruce Springsteen night after night via Periscope.  Does anyone know if Wilco allows this?  Has anyone used it?  It seems like a great tool to see what is happening as a band tours the world.  Apparently a person can broadcast live for a period of time (15 minutes?) and then someone else can do it.  If you have the app, or a website that links (like Backstreets does for Bruce....) you can watch 15 minutes segments amounting to a full show!  Seems awesome!

I don't see how any band could prevent it. I watched a bunch of Stone Roses shows on Periscope as they were happening back in June. I just used the Periscope app to find the broadcasts. It wasn't sponsored by the band, it was just random fans broadcasting bits and pieces. Great fun!

Not sure about the 15 minutes, because I watched both Pearl Jam Fenway shows on periscope, mainly from one scoper. And multiple people scope during the show. Nothing the band can do about it unless they specifically ask people not to and even then I doubt people would stop.
