I caught them by accident the first time opening for another band I like Firewater back in 2002 when Everybody Who Pretended to Like Me just came out. I was blown away! I ended up seeing them 12 times over the next few years. My favorite Hamilton story however is he released an album on Etsy and there was a deliver in person option.
