Vitale doesn't do play by play; neither does Packer.
right. I knew that.
-
Doesn't bother me in the slightest. I actually wish they'd finished a little worse, because there'd be no doubt about firing Amaker.
They can't be serious about keeping that guy.

Kansas will not make it to the Final Four

ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK...GO KU!
I couldn't have said it any better myself.
The best part of the Tourney for me is that we don't have to listen to Vitale do play-by-play. ....although Packer isn't much better.
BTW....Duke is one and done this year! Go VCU!

How silly of me! You all are excused

C'mon people!! Where were you!?!?!?!? This was a great, intimate, beautifully harmonic show. I am deeply dissapointed in you all who did not give it a chance.

- then she stripped down naked in front of us!"

Us magazine has an interview with Britney Spears' (former?) nanny and the source says that when Britney is alone with her kids, "she gets overwhelmed. She gets so frustrated when they cry, asking, 'How do I make it stop?' But she loves her kids." And if you've ever wanted to be Britney's nanny here are some of the job requirements.
Personal Over Professional
"Britney didn't ask me one thing about my child-care experience. She only wanted to know about my personal life."
Friend Wanted
"The agency that called me emphasized that Britney was looking for a nanny who was young and hip because they wanted her to interact with people her own age. Basically, Britney wanted a friend."
Comfort With Nudity A Plus
"Britney asked me and one of her nannies to come to her room to watch her try on outfits for a party one night - then she stripped down naked in front of us!"
Must Be Hands-On
"One nanny told me that Britney will hold her kids for 10 minutes and then say, 'I'm done now. You can take them.'"
Don't Be Too Good
"She doesn't like when Sean prefers the nanny, so she fires them and looks for a new one."
Man, that's good parenting. There's no doubt her kids' first words are gonna be "ma ma." Only it'll be directed towards a fire hydrant. Or a toaster. Or any other object or person that isn't actually their mother.

You know what the sad thing is? If this game would've been at Soldier, I would've been in the parking lot drinking HiLifes by the end of the 3rd quarter. Never say die.

I hope to fucking god there's more dates on the way. I have a no-travelling-beyond-Toronto-or-Buffalo concert rule, but if I have to, god help me, I'll take a damn coach all the way to Dee-troy-it for Mr. Waits. Not missing this for the world.
where did you find this info?

Another awesome show from the guys. Jeff mentioned Woodgrain's letter, talking about "one of the websites where people write about us," and said the crowd was pretty tame, he asked if they weren't intoxicating us with their music. After the first encore break he said that a momentus occasion had passed: he and John got married. The opening act was pretty good; the crowd got more into it as the show went on after a lame start.
what letter? is there a link to this?

first the mic then a half cigarette
singing Cathy's clown
that's the man she's married to now
that's the girl that he takes around town
she appears composed, so she is, I suppose
who can really tell
she shows no emotion at all
stares into space like a dead china doll
I'm never gonna know you now
but I'm gonna love you anyhow
now she's done and they're calling someone
such a familiar name
I'm so glad that my memories remote
'cause I'm doing just fine hour to hour, note to note
here it is the revenge to the tune
you're no good
you're no good, you're no good, you're no good
can't you tell that it's well understood
I'm never gonna know you now
but I'm gonna love you anyhow
I'm here today and expected to stayon and on and on
I'm tired, I'm tired
looking out on the substitute scene
still going strong
XO, mom, it's ok, it's alright, nothing's wrong
tell Mr. Man with impossible plansto just leave me alone
in the place where I make no mistakes
in the place where I have what it takes
I'm never gonna know you now
but I'm gonna love you anyhow
I'm never gonna know you now
but I'm gonna love you anyhow
I'm never gonna know you now
but I'm gonna love you anyhow
