  1. The fills are just on live versions. Is the double chord hit you're talking about come after this:

    E |----------------------|

    B |----------------------|

    G |----------------------|

    D |---5-5-5-5-----8-8-8--|

    A |---2-3-4-4-----5-6-7--|

    D |-0-2-2-2-2-0-5-5-5-5--|

  2. Alright. Those noise fills are simply open strings, at least how I play them. So, whenever there is that random "mah mah" during the song, hit a few strings at random. How's that for a cryptic tab? Have fun. Hey Groo, give me some other song to tab out, I'm bored here! :P

  3. What is a good lap steel? I've been playing slide for a while but I have never been comfortable putting that pole on the neck to really get the sound going. Let me rephrase the question: What is a good lap steel to buy for a decent price?

  4. I also use azureus and it also said the port was blacklisted all you have to do is

go to options and on the first options page it will show "6881" just change that to a

different port number you can use anywhere from 49152 - 65535 and it should work fine.

    Good Luck :cheers

I tried using a lot of those ports but it said NAT error. What now? I've been told I need to set my wireless into Bridge Mode. Anybody have any idea on how to do that on an Airport?

  5. I posted this on the Help branch of the Torrent page, but I just want to make sure the right people see this:

I'm back after a vacation from bit torrent and apparently lots has changed. I guess VC got a new tracker and maybe it's just because of the recent crash but it looks as if the only torrent options are for Gameboys, and there aren't any. On another bad note, I'm getting in trouble with other trackers because I'm not seeding. I still use Azureus and I leave it on over night but to no avail. Is there something I'm not doing? One more, I have also been trouble downloading any torrents. It says . Is that due to not sharing or something else? Any help to any of these problems would be appreciated. Thanks!

(Sorry if double posting this bothers anyone.)

  6. Depending on what equipment you have available, record whatever song you want the noise jam at the end and take a copy of the recording and slow it down as much as you can using Protools or some other program. That'll give a nice ambient base for the noise. Also, putting heaps of sustain on a slow rotation organ can give that. Feedback with an acoustic works real well for me. No matter how poorly it sounds during recording, the playback sounds infinitely better.

  7. Point. Damn. I just need to play them and see who wins. Damn internet shopping.

Edit: Alright, I need someone who knows guitars to tell me the difference between a Squier model and the real McCoy. So far, this Jagmaster has the same neck, which is nice, pickups are solid. What else is there to it? Obviously having a big SQUIER on the headpiece is ugly, but that can be buffed out if needed. What's the dillio?

  8. After searching (for an hour), I found this bad boy:

After getting past the name "Squier," I talked to a friend of mine that has one, says it is quote "Sweet." For a Squier. Not even for a Squier, just a sweet guitar. Which is nice. And, I love Jazzmasters. And Jaguars. And, if I go to get ripped off at Guitar Center, I'm only in the hole about $300. It just seems too good to be true...

  9. For me, the Washburn is too good in its sound. Very full, and those tone knobs are sweet, 10 having a warm humbucker sound and 1 being a crisp coil. Also, I need to retune the guitar after each song, and not just the B string but all of them. Which sucks. And the frets need redressing every few months. I had a dent in the 10th fret 2cm deep, and they couldn't give me an explanation why. Maybe I just got a bad neck but, that Duo Sonic is really well built and hasn't given me any trouble even though I play it much harder than the Washburn. Plus, the sound is awesome when I turn the amp up to 11.

  10. Alright, I have outgrown my Washburn and am searching for my new weapon. I'm borrowing my friends Duo Sonic II which is pretty sweet but, I need something of my own. Anybody have any suggestions?

I like the Duo Sonic way better.duo2.jpg

  11. I would suggest finding a book at least. I play by ear just because I find it easier but, in no way can I say I have a mastery of the harmonica. If you're just going to playing around on it while playing guitar, having a solid grasp isn't the most important thing but, if you're going to playing blues riffs, I would say get a book or a teacher.
