  1. actually, un-um, motherfucking- not exactly:

    story

and actually, it did only appear to affect the yanks on the field. cleveland's pitchers were able to battle right through

i think prospector should go watch an Oliver Stone movie to satisfy his conspiracy theory itch

  2. Thanks Gary -- Here's another "complaint" from Joba:

""Bugs are bugs," Chamberlain grumbled afterward, mostly at himself. "It's not the first time I had a bug near me. You just keep your mouth closed. No excuses. I let my guys down. Disappointed is an understatement."

  3. i know no one wants to hear a yankee fan complain but this fucko chip carray calling the game is doing everything but waving the tribe time flag around in the booth

    shut the fuck up chipper

    anyways....

as for the person visiting NYC and couldnt find a yankee fan -- you blind sista

  4. Linky Dinky

Overall I agree with the review, especially the part about O'Brien's mixing in of strings -- something that I think totally goes against the core sound of the album.

I am in love with this album though and think i'd up the overall review to 8.5

I've listened to You'll Be Comin Down on repeat several times now.

  5. I really enjoyed the show, to a surprising to degree since I kind of became burned out on the setlists during the AGIB is tour. I actually thought the crowd was pretty good to be honest -- my wife and I were standing towards the back because i'm pretty darn tall and get a bit claustrophobic. I did think the crowd really was listening, singing, etc - except for one loud girl who was drinking straight jack daniels or something (she volunteered this to me) but even she shut up when asked. The ultimate see and be seen crowd in NYC was the first of the back-to-back Roseland shows a couple of years back -- last night's group was much more there for the music (at least where i was standing). As for energy level - well, hey man, it was a monday night -- and a lot of folks looked around my age (30s) -- do you know how hard it was for us to get out of the house on a school night, let alone go nuts at the show??? :stunned haha.

anyway -- glenn is so much fun to watch -- and the tightness of the band really is remarkable -- i'm glad i went.

  6. i agree -- the detractors will say that BRLD is too polished compared to Let Me Come Over, but the fact is that EVERY song on BRLD is a great song

As for the new album -- i simply love it. it's beautiful. And CC and Callas is all that is wonderful about Buffalo Tom
