  1. Friends have always told me Wilco (The Album) is he best place to start but i dunno.
  2. Ross Lynch and Spencer Tweedy are practically the same age. I've said too much....
  3. I saw the first one and thought it was great. Good harmless fun. Catchy song and dance and it didn't take itself too seriously. This weekend I caught a part of the Teen Beach 2 sequel from a summer or two ago - i was reminded that it just wasn't the same. They rehashed a few of the same songs and the newer songs - in a few cases - were just not as fresh. And don't even get me started on the plot. It made a Tarantino movie seem straightforward. Ah well.
  4. Excellent. Feedback appreciated. Tally ho!
  5. damn i always get the threads mixed up i meant it more as a hobby then a band name though
  6. Dude they played i'm a wheel. That is their best song bar none
  7. I like the new album, for the most part. i don't like people who shit their pants when someone expresses an opinion. I miss Jay. I love Greg.
  8. I will be listening to this on the way home, can't wait!
  9. I love this album start to finish. Down By the Water, which I like, is my least favorite song on the record. I get a definite Being There vibe on some songs, especially All Arise. I think this album is by far so much more accessible than the last couple, and its nice to take a break from the 12 minute songs.
  10. we liked the show, good to be back in ttown. john referenced Horsefeathers, they have some damn good burgers. horseradish cheddar burger is my fav
  11. and check this out, i just heard from a good friend of mine, Dave Mirabella -- we share a mutual love of all things Buffalo Tom. He actually has Bill Janovitz doing guest vocals on his band's upcoming album. Go Dave! Check out his band if you are interested: The Rationales
  12. i used to live three blocks from there
  13. Dont feel like an outsider homeslice. I love you.

  16. 2 weeks later ans Summerteeth is still kicking my ass I just hope that Jeff really didnt hit ppl that would be bad
  17. I just finished Being There and I think that and Summerteeth are my favorite albums. So funny that they are such linear opposites in production style but I just think those 2 plus Yankee Hotel Foxtrot capture Jeff lyrically in his prime. What special triumverate of albums. Also, i'm not into butt stuff.
  18. summerteeth=near perfection love the inner Brian Wilson coming out on this album. the crafting of the songs and lyrically a true masterpiece. I listened to it 3 times thru last night and had an absolute blast.
  19. Off to the Itunes store to purchase Summerteeth! Is the song Via Chicago why this place is called Via Chicago? If so, that's pretty darn clever. The folks who put this place together must be awful cool
  20. Tonight! Summerteeth!
  21. Ok, i bought sky blue sky last night and listened to it with all the lights off in the living room with some blackberry brandy. I confess I was a bit disapointed. A lot of it was just very jam bandy no? I mean, some of those songs just went on forever. I nodded off at one point and dreamt I was at a Wilco concert - of course that may have been the blackberry brandy talking. Lol!
  22. I know right? Oh and by the way, " I dont dig on swine" Haha. But i guess you get that a lot.
