I wonder what the service fee and shipping fee will be on MusicToday. People may have an impression that they are a good alternative to Ticketmaster, but I have bought many shows on there before and the prices are not much different -- in some cases I think they were actually higher.

I always thought the Riv held way more than 2500 people. I thought the balcony was huge (but I've never seen a show from up there). Thought closer to 4000. But I guess I'm wrong ( http://centerstage.net/music/clubs/riviera.html )

Part 2 (IATTBYH to end of show)

For some reason in Windows Media Player version 9 I hear some static for the first minute of each video. In Winamp, I don't hear this. Not sure why. Most people these days seem to prefer VLC Media Player anyway, so maybe try that out.
Enjoy

I recorded it also and got all but the first few seconds of IATTBYH.
Yeah... I missed a few seconds too, since I kept trying to restart the webcast. But didn't they start webcasting part way into the song anyway?
Are you going to upload yours? I'm not sure if it's better... probably splitting hairs, they will be very close

I jsut started recording again!!! wonder if they'll show 1 or 2 songs???
-
I love the studio Walken!!! I think it is perfect

I'm juggling Wilco, Vegoose webcast (Umphrey's McGee), and World Series.
About to grab beer

I am recording now!!!!!

Seriously... there were no problems up until this point
Was anyone watching during Common? I put it on for a few minutes as a test, and no problems at all. I shut it off, but now it just won't go back on
-
It was working 30 minutes ago during the rapper Common, now it will not connect at all!!!!!

My first rock show at Millennium Park -- they need to do more!
Great time... was midway back in the pavillion, and could hear pretty damn well. Sound was tight for outdoors and that far back from the stage (at least 75 feet). Box Full of Letters, Red Eyed, I Got You, etc were all great!!!
-
Maybe this has been covered somewhere else, but what does the "limited view" mean? I thought those were going to be lawn seats....but I got my tickets in the mail and they are definitely in the pavilion.
It could be because of the soundboard

I was worried that if I wasn't first or second in line at the Vic that I'd have no chance, and plus I don't want to wake up any earlier than I have to, so I went the online/phone route. but yeah curious too
-
Yeah I have no doubts that scalpers ate a lot of tickets up. Smashing Pumpkins recently went with Will Call ONLY for their 9 nights in Asheville, NC and 12 nights in San Francisco (still going on there). It is SO much better that way -- the scalpers are 99% eliminated

"Can't Stand It" is my request!
Come on Jeff!!!! Thanks

OK, at least the order is confirmed! Sec 202, row MM. Not the best, but I've sat all around the Pritzker before and it's so nice, so I don't care THAT much
Still this was a crazy onsale and everyone who did the presales should be giving thanks!
-
I think I had worse chances since I was going for 3 tickets... man. Still on phone trying to confirm order
-
That was a brutal TM onsale... pulled up Sec 205 but was sure I'd get better if I tried again, but all that came up (after many attempts) was Sec 201 and LAWN several times. Ended up with 3 tix, not even sure what section, calling TM right now...

Hearing even that tiny clip of the song yesterday made my night, since I hadn't heard the studio version yet! My mom even liked it and asked who it was!!!
I just wish it were included on the album! (I will download the track ASAP)

I love when a band plays on Letterman and he has a copy of the vinyl while introducing them. He often makes jokes about how attempting to play the record in your CD player could lead to serious injury, "or even death!"

Thanks for the info, y'all

The LP is back up on Musictoday so if your not in a rush for it you can get it there. If the preorder delay fiasco is any indication of their customer service you may have it in time for Christmas.
They took just long enough for me to take my business to Elusive Disc! (I have no problem with that either)

So I guess the venue will scan the ticket barcode every night?? Probably they can reset their scanners each night so that each ticket is "fresh" again (and obviously only allow 1 valid scan per night).
I sorta wish they were separate. Tickets tend to get crumpled/beat up sometimes, and after 5 nights...
