  1. 100% improved is right. The Kung Fu store is WAY more user-friendly than MusicToday was.
  2. Simultaneously the most and least pretentious Wilco album cover yet. Nice. For me the phrase that comes to mind is, "How is this not Awesome?!" This also sheds some light on the camel-related stage banter at the Athens, OH show.
  3. I don't think that's a problem - most people who consume music are not musicians themselves. I think there's room for both approaches and more. There are all kinds of ways to come to an appreciation for music.
  4. Wilco is my favorite band. I read Pitchfork every day. My entry point for Wilco was YHF. I came to it thru Rolling Stone. 5. This'll be my second show at the Aronoff. Called in to the CAA box office about an hour after the pre-sale began. I'm glad this show wasn't announced until after I had bought tickets to the Athens show. I probably wouldn't have gone to both if they were announced at the same time.
  6. I'd love to get this show too. It was a pretty good one. I wouldn't mind gettting Tall Stacks too if it happens to be floating around out there. To the poster who asked above, some of the usual places to check are DimeADozen and bt.etree.org, which are BitTorrent trackers that exist pretty much exclusively for live music.
