Downtown Money Waster - I could have came up with a better choice than that one.
yeah. don't like that choice. the rest sounds great though (hotel illness?!)
-
Jaill - That's How We Burn. really digging this.
-
that should be poor elijah. d'oh.
-
sounds great!
sidenote: please stop playing dear elijah. seems like everytime i see them, they play it.
-
Big Boi - Sir Lucious Left Foot: The Son of Chico Dusty
pretty damn good
-
i absolutely love the gin blossoms.
-
Might be my favorite thing he has done. Some amazing guitar playing and some of the songs would not be out of place on an early Crowes album.
really? wow. i love that first album of his. last few have been quite hit or miss.
-
yeah, i downloaded it last night. haven't listened yet besides a song on myspace.
-
why did john prine paint those eyebrows & moustache on?
-
The new Marc Ford album "Fuzz Machine" is sounding really good. You can check out some tracks on his myspace page. Some great guitar work so far. I love "Bolero in Red".
wtf. i had no idea he had a new album. thanks for the update

i got tix to the crowes here in august. kick ass venue at the zoo. and apparently 5th row, center. so excited.
-
awesome doc. thanks for the heads up. really liking this album.

I'd rank Planet Waves as the best album Dylan made after his motorcycle crash.
i'd got with time out of mind for that one. hell, that might be my 2nd fave dylan album (blonde on blonde is #1)
-
Underrated. I consider this one of his very best, because of songs like Dirge and Going Going Gone. But I don't see it praised nearly enough.
i praise it all the time here ;-)
top 5 dylan album for me.

New Stone Temple Pilots
Much better than I would have expected.
i absolutely love it! very surprised

Put it on again after another listen through its so-so follow up. Just reminds me how great this record is. I love listening to this when I'm just hours away from the weekend and some great weather.
definitely my fave spoon album. though it's the first one i really liked
-
Been meaning to try that one. Soon as I quit listening to LCD Soundsystem, The National, and Band of Horses.
i really like it. i also really like STP. i hadn't listened to them in a while but this new one's making me go back & listen to everything else. i forgot how great they're hooks/riffs/melodies are.
-
new stone temple pilots. i still can't believe how much i like this.
-
john hiatt - walk on
any recommendations for other hiatt records? it's the only one i have & i love it. never checked anything else out for some reason
-
