I've always enjoyed the song, especially the lyrics, but JT delivered my fav version here in austin, really caught me off guard. Fell in love with it again.

New Andrew Bird, I love it. And after this again - Oxford Collapse, because it's what the day demands.

Apparently, there is no distribution, so he's taking it around all over. Was here in Austin this past week. It's now only showing at one theater in town, for a limited time.

Loved it. Not for everyone mind you, but wonderful to see an american director (maybe the only one, or that's what it feels like) stay outside the box. (Okay a couple others come to mind) Yes, it is long, but well worth it, IMO. For Lynch fans, a lot of throwbacks to older films, overall tons to say about this film, just unable to sum up all my feelings and thoughts just yet. okay.

I met them as well, wonderful bunch. They'll be here in March for SXSW. Right now, I'm trying to put the finishing touches of pre-production on a video for them. For the first track. I asked if i could do something for a track that they didn't have plans for, and they said sure, I told them I didn't want any money, but just the chance to do it, like I did when I made Derek let me do that Riviera thing. (DP had no choice). I'm very stoked, and have a pretty good idea for that song, hopefully by next week I'll know 100% if I can pull it off. If it blows, no harm no foul, they can tell me t

That has crept up as one of the best albums in bit. I love it.

Heavy Metal Chinese Apple Drummer! Great Show. Personal highlights - Remember the Mountain Bed Gun Masturbation Wii banter Blasting Fonda One By One Dreamer in My Dreams (sans P.A.) Yeah, great night. Good night.

Man, what a line up - Sorry, I'm a complete sucker for this Rage-Reunion. Thinking about this very hard. Does anyone know roughly the price for a three-day pass?

Nothing new to add really, one of my favorite directors, Aguirre is it. All the Kinski films are at least a view. Strozeck is wonderful, all the documentaries are musts, the early ones for sure. If you can hunt down the Even Dwarfs Started Small DVD, the commentary with Werner, Crispin Glover & Norman Hill is great. See Lessons of Darkness and absolutely see Fata Morgana.

Great show, barely crowded, but perfect sound, they pretty much played both albums. Again, great show. I was amazed at the sound of her guitars through these smaller Fender combo amps which had mics on them, but the Parish always has great sound, wonderful P.A. system, my ears still hurt from Drive-By-Truckers shows there - She plays two different Les Paul's, and then an older Gibson, I don't know the model, but great damn sound.
