  1. Does anyone have FLACs or mp3s of these suckers to post?
  2. Here's a question for the Wilco brethren that stay on top of their shows... I know that Wilco performs/ed a great deal of the new material that made it onto 'SBS' but was wondering... Are there new songs (or even old ones) that they've been playing that we haven't seen recorded yet? I also know some non-album tracks have surfaced--like "One True Vine" (from a promo), "The Thanks I Get" (bonus download from 'SBS' CD), and "Let's Not Get Carried Away" (iTunes bonus track)--but are there others? THANKS!
  3. I was fortunate enough to get the promo cd with my purchase of 'Sky Blue Sky', and am grateful for the promo's non-album tracks "One True Vine" and the live version of "Theologians" but was hoping for some help with the latter--does anyone know from what show it's from--date and place? Any help is GREATLY appreciated!
  4. THANKS!!!!!!!!!! For appoxiamtely 200,000,000 I've been trying to get "I
  5. Can someone pretty-please-with-sugar-on-top re-post the FLACs for the various collections originally posted? If you can help--THANKS!!!!!!!!!
  6. Does anyone have this stuff is better than 64kbps quality?
  7. Yeah, I scoured and googled like crazy before posting. Then just recently had some luck: the "Soil X Sample" record came out in 1995. Songs included were 'Childlike & Green' and 'Someone Else's Song'--along with a non Wilco track--Poster Children's 'He's My Star'. But still no luck with the "All Over the Place" promo lp. I wonder if it's part of something else, like Summerteeth's promo bonus disc 'and sum aren't' or the bonus discs for YHF or AGIB.
  8. I really do appreciate the links, buttttttttttt neither addresses when these promos were released and any other do-dad kinda information or history. And I agree---adding a FAQ would be a great idea!
  9. I'm just doing some research and was hoping for some help, a lil' intel... Just a couple of questions: 1. Can anyone report the release date for the "Soil X Sample" 45 lp? Even if it's just the year--that's cool. 2. I'd love to know more about the lp promo entitled "All Over the Place" --also, even if it's just including year of release. Bottom line: I'd love to know as much as possible about these records!!!!!! Any help is GREATLY appreciated!!!!!! Thanks.
  10. Very cool. Is it a double disc--looks like a single disc, but is a double--and the album art is the standard Summerteeth? Or special art?
  11. Okay, good news and bad news... First off, yes "Nothing Up My Sleeve" is really skippy and chalk full of glitches and the tape cuts off abruptly on "Venus Stop the Train" (although some copies have it faded out)--so that's a bummer. Now for good news: both of these songs are the same versions found on the "YHF Demos" boot. Sooooo, do a little swingin' between both discs and whoa-la! Problem solved. Well, kinda... I listened very carefully to my FLAC-sourced copy and Boots's mp3 copy and there's still a couple of very minor glithches remaining. Some sonic pops occur on: "Cars Can't E
  12. For the record, do we know which songs--exactly--have the flaws? Better yet, at what time the flaw/skip/whatever occurs? Just hoping for some help with cross-referencing.
  13. I seem to recall seeing "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" also released in blue-tint background instead of the regular yellow-ish/tan-ish back ground. Same cover with the buildings--just a different, colored background tint: blue. Anybody have one of these? Is there a story behind it---or was this just a limited run (for whatever reason)? Thanks.
  14. I was just reading over some of the source material used for the "Complete Singles" compilation discs and noticed four songs hailing from a promo disc entitled "Summerteeth and Some Aren't". Does anyone know anything about this promo? Also, from what show do these songs date from? For the record, songs used from it on the "Complete Singles" compilation included: Red Eyed & Blue [live Tweedy Bennett Solo] Box Full of Letters [live Tweedy Bennett Solo] Don't Forget the Flowers [live Tweedy Bennett] Sunken Treasure [live Tweedy Bennett Solo] Thanks.
  15. Is this lossless version a corrected version, meaning the songs that have sonic flaws are fixed-up here? Regardless, thanks!
  16. Found it! For the completists: http://www.donewaiting.com/archives/2004/06/live_wilco.php
  17. A while back, Wilcoworld had some streaming music I was wondering about... They had "Hell is Chrome" (Live 6-12-04, The Vic, Chicago, IL)

    Help

"Dwight, at 8am today, someone poisons the coffee. DO NOT DRINK THE COFFEE. More instructions will follow. Cordially, Future Dwight." Nice avatar! Thanks for the radio station suggestion. I'll give it a shot. Cool about the in-studio performance! I'm envious:) --Mark PS. If I'm successful with obtaining the song, I'll post it here. However, if anyone does have the song, anyway--if you could--please post it here. Thanks.

    Help

Team Wilco, I'm on the home stretch with acquiring all the random Wilco bits 'n bobs and would love some help. I'm trying to get an mp3 of "I'm the Man Who Loves You" (Live 7-31-2002 105.5 WMMM, Madison, WI)--found on the Live from Studio M vol.2 compilation album. I know this cd is out of print, but I just can't seem to find it anywhere, anyway. Not even ebay. If anyone has it, could they either post the link or email me with this sucker? I'd really-really-really appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS! --Mark
  20. In regards to the DVD... Does anyone know if there's easter eggs on it--and, if so, how do you access them?
  21. Only two songs (on the first two albums) even have links to lyrics/credits--"Radio King" and "Lost Love" (and this link doesn't work). I know there's more than that. And then there's the latest album...
  22. Thanks for the link, but it doesn't indicate who sings what on the Golden Smog CDs + the new Golden Smog isn't up there yet...
