  1. I think his moment of doing"something boss like and mature" really crippled Wilco. I think Jeff is super talented don't get me wrong , but when Jay left I think he took a great big chunk of the talent and creativity with him.
  2. I also love the country guitar fills/lead on Forget the Flowers.Jays snappy Tele leads are awesome.
  3. In the middle of Sunken Treasure when the band is going crazy and you can hear someone shout and everything stops and the opening acoustic riff starts playing again. Also listening to the steel parts in California Stars.
  4. I totally agree with you.

    Nels Cline

    It's Justin Guarini.
  6. I'd settle for just seeing Wilco do them too.Jay would have to be there too.
  7. Wouldn't it be cool if Billy Bragg and Wilco would ever do some shows where they played music from the Mermaid recordings.Wilco could get Jay back on guitar, which i'm sure will never happen.I know there was some tension towards the latter half of the recordings but im sure it settled by now. That would be my Wilco dream concert. What do you all think?
  8. I agree.I liked Wilco better with Jay.I liked his playing style alot better.Nels just runs a bunch of notes together in a cluster.Jay's phrasing is much better.I also liked his pedal steel country licks he played alot.
  9. David Lee Roth would be awesome!!!!
  10. Rocky Raccoon,Elanor Rigby,I am the Walrus.
