Billy Talbot- Crazy Horse
No No No
I used to see WSP a good bit back when Brother Houser was lingering and it twas
always a BEER run when a JoJo tune came on. He could have stepped it up when
Mike passed, but he simply doesn't have the skill.
I would also say Dave Matthews of ya know his own band.

I just finished my 1,260 mile roadtrip journey to Cincy, then St. Louis.
Short and simple.....the Cincy show was the best I have seen of this band.
St. Louis, well the Fox Theater is probably the coolest damn theater in the
country, and I have been in a ton of them. Man, that place is simply unbelievable.
St. Louis setlist didn't drift far enough away from the night befores show so that kind of
disappointed me. However the band was tight and the "Goodnight Rose" from this show
was just beautiful.
Rest for a week or so then down to Tiscaloosa then ATL to end this outstanding tour.
Oh, SPACEWOLF has become a ROCK STAR ! LOL.
-
Thus far of the new songs I have heard I'm really digging sinking ship, cobwebs and natural ghosts.
-
Any St Louis folks onboard here?
I'm heading over yonder for the show this Saturday.....tell me what is a close hotel to The Fox?
I prefer to walk, but doesn't appear to be any hotels withing walking distance. Next option would be
to cab it and prefer to stay in a hotel somewhere near some bars, food JOINTS. Is the Train Station place
ok?

Messed up is an understatement. It was downright distrurbing....he looks like death warmed over...
here it is on youtube

> Midnight in Mississippi
I really dig this tune. Fun little story and the delivery and groove somehow takes me back to Dylan's "Hurricane"
-
I love the movie, but my favorite music film
is......oh, and my man Danko is wonderful in it.
-
Well %^$# ! How did I not hear of this?
Sarah, I moved up on that mountain looking down on ya a few months ago. Spending a ton of time catching shows in Chatt now.
I too went to Nightfall and thought the band was in great form. I also dig the new album. We had reunion like affair at the show
as a bunch of my old tour day friends showed up. Twas fun.
I had no idea they play this 2nd show. Man !
Hope all is well. Yell my way when/if you ever play around town. Oh, just a thought for you. New management at the Lookout Mountain
Cafe is looking for acoustic solo or outfits to play their patio. Few weekends ago they had a young gal from UTC play there.
Check into it if ya think.

I have tix for St Louis and ATL, they are at home but recall at least one of them states:
The Cardinals featuring Ryan Adams.
I'll verify tonight.
I dig Foggy, glad it's back up. Ryan may have found it "too consuming" but the band seemed to like the outlet.
-
Also, Nasville tix go onsale this Saturday for the Friday 8/15 show on the River

I have one ticket, with "obstructed view"--how bad can it be?
I have used the poles to hold myself up when Nels melts my feets.
Can't be too bad.
I'm sure many a kids back in the day loved being behind the poles during church services, LOL.

How ya been?
Hey there Sarah. Been good, been busy. Ready for warmm weather again.

"A Little More Time" off last year's "A Year in the Wilderness" is one of my fav tunes of 2007.
Here is an NPR link which has the tune
I have been a fan of "X" and JD since some freak in Athens handed me a cassette of "Los Angeles" in the early '80's.
I can't wait for Nashville.

The guy who seeded this had the following to say:
"Folks, just so you know. I recently had a friend dump a bunch of DATs of old Wilco, Tweedy, Son Volt, K-sets (next up), Ferrar, Coffee Creek, and a couple more old Tupelo shows (sadly UT is the least represented). It is going to take me quite a while to get this all transfered and I'm probably going to need some setlist help because some of this stuff (especially the early solo Tweedy) does not seem to appear in the normal archives. Just a heads up for those of y'all wishing for more"
I grabbed an early SV from him as well earlier this week. Keep ya EYES out over at bt etree.
