More than likely, I'll be at Memphis Pizza Cafe for $2 Shiner Bock.
Did you hear that Wilco is coming?
Wilco? Nope. I may do pizza as well. Time will tell.

Tickets are on the brown truck!
Best news I received in my inbox this morning. I was starting to sweat it. Louisville tix came earlier this week. G-town
to arrive Monday and Tuesday I hit the road. Commissary is where I'll be pre-show.

i was at the 6/29 show...two encores...2 hour 40 minute set...seems like you just sort of have to get lucky with this guy
one of the best shows ive ever seen:
Lucky you. We listened to this show all day yesterday.
You are right, better to enter the venue with little to no expectations.
-
6/29 is a sweet show. Torrent on the Ryan Adams Archive board.
Hoping for a show(s) like last Friday in Louisville>Germantown.
-
YeP, I caught the Atlanta show a few weeks back. Never been a big PF fan but realized this
may be my only chance to see a PF "band".
Enjoyed it, but must admit in a "campy" kind of way.
-
Good Times. Thanx for the review. I don't beleive they have done an encore this summer.
just one set, and gone. You make it sound as if the band was playing electric, were they?
Be the first of summer if so. Definitely the first set of the summer with more old songs
than the new ET tunes.
I'm hitting the Louisville, KY & Germantown, TN shows in 2 weeks and can't wait.
-
Thanx to ever captured the vid and uploaded it.
I can't find the link (person) who grabbed this for us but thanx.

so last night I'm talking to an old tour bud of mine about how much rain, etc.
we had...he recalled it wasn't the wettest Wilco show we had seen.
anyone recall the 10/18/97 show in Greenville, SC?
it was a radio sponsored gig with Gov't Mule and a few others. went basically all day
in a (minor) baseball stadium. It rained the entire day.

Sarah, 2 things:
and Tood Snider is playing Chatt this Friday at the ol place that was once Yesterdays.
Caddilac Sky at Miller Plaza followed by Todd = Good Times downtown.
-
well there was one person who was soaked more than any of us....Sir Glenn Kotche.

I got a complete tape and will post it soon. I put my mic stand just under the front edge of the canopy over the soundboard, and you can't really hear the rain. The canopy did sort of "trap" the crowd shouts and some conversation, but I think it'll be a pleasant listen overall. I'll post a link when I have it up.
RE: the volume, Chastain has strict limits on the volume, with fines for the bands if it goes over. Stan was having to watch a decibel meter the whole time, so his hands were tied on that.
Welcome to viachi Sloan. I have grabbed many a shows you have recorded over the years. Thank you KINDly for being the taper we all love.
For those interested Sloan has a sweet website:

jimmy jimmy, some news for ya in this post.
I left NW Georgia Wednesday morning for Louisville, one hellava show that night....may be better than the 6/29 show. Post show I had the opportunity to share
a few beers with Brad P. and John "Slider". I asked about the night before. They said all the Cards were in town but Ryan was flying in from
NY. There were in fact storms in the area and his flight was delayed. He arrived 2 hours after the show was scheduled to start. I understand they
cancelled once they realized the delay was goin to be over an hour.
I left L-ville Thursday and a made the long boring arse drive to G-Town. Checked in room, went straight to the G-town Commissary for my ribs and Bud then on to the show.
As you may have heard a solid show, though much shorter than L-ville. RA said not a word, etc. Still worth the trip.
Might as well ramble about rest my ramble. Friday morning was yet another visit/tour of Graceland. My tour companion hadn't been before.
After spending too much $$$ on campy EP gifts for friends it was off to Little Rock for the weekend. My first trip to the Rock, you folks near there
have a sweet little river area. Toured the Clinton Library on Saturday as well saw The Bottle Rockets at a neat little club called Sticky Fingerz, The
Chicken Shack. The Shack alone will get me back to LR to see other club level fav band of mine one day soon. All in all a great road trip, just under 1,600 miles
of nothing but Smiles.
The Louisville show is up an archivedotorg and the torrent is still alive at RA Archives. Grabbed it this morning dew.
