When I try to download Sunken Treasure, I get this message:

The requested URL /records/bonus/sunken/JeffTweedy_SunkenTreasure.zip was not found on this server.

Anyone know what this means? Is it no longer available?

Just got back from the in-store. I couldn't believe there weren't more people there. They still had unsold passes remaining when I left. I was expecting hordes of people.
Anyway, it was a pretty standard autograph line, and they wouldn't allow pictures WITH the band although you could take pictures OF the band.
Got to chat with a couple of them while meandering past. Glenn was very nice and reached out to shake my little girl's hand but she was too shy to reach back. Jeff gave her a mint from the bowl on the table.
No performance, at least while I was there but it didn't look like one was going to happen so I split.

So is that I-40 construction really bad? Will I still be able to get to the record store using the Hall of Fame exit? (i'll be coming from the east on I-40 west). I have a Garmin but not sure if it picks up construction routes. Hopefully it does.
It isn't too bad, and the Hall of Fame exit is before where it is closed from your direction (ar actually right at it.) When you see the I-40 detour on 640 or whatever it is - most of the other traffic will be taking the detour to get around the closed portion - stay on I-40 headed downtown. The Hall of Fame exit will be the last place you can get off, and you have to get off there because the interstate is closed there. Take Hall of Fame into downtown (turn left from the exit ramp) and your Garmin should get you the rest of the way there.

Do you live in Knoxville?
I do.

I'll be there. I'm going to try and get there early enough to get a signed dvd but with a 4+ hour drive, not sure I'll make it. Will definitely be there by 2 pm though!
They aren't signing just anything, according to the website.
Nope, just DVDs purchased at the store. So I have to buy another one, which is OK because the one I pre-ordered still isn't here yet.
-
And I did mention this in the Knoxville Roll Call thread, but I agree that it is worthy of its own thread.
Are any VCers going to be there? What time are you going to go down?
-
I am hoping for a performance but not counting on one. It may just be an autograph session.
-
No, but if you hum a few bars I can probably fake it...

i used normal USPS shipping.
i found the tracking number by going to the wilco store and logging into my account then clicking "order status"... then it said something like mail innovations and had a number. i copied the number and typed mail innovations into google and a UPS site came up so i entered the tracking number and that's how i got the info.
Excellent, thank you very much. Smart thinking, too!

mine was supposedly shipped a week ago... yet to arrive... i wonder if the tote bag has slowed it down? i don't even know why i ordered the tote, as i have 3 other wilco totes...
just checked the tracking number and it said...
Apr 15 2009 Entered USPS Facility - SCF CHATTANOOGA , TN
maybe it will be at home this afternoon... how can it take 2 days to get to soddy from chatt when it's a 20 min drive??? bah, i hate mail.
You got a tracking number? How? Did you use a fancy shipping option? My shipment e-mail doesn't have a tracking number.

There's clicking in the recording because there was clicking in the webcast. It's just from latency issues and whatnot... there's a lot of information trying to stream from really far away and whatnot. Regardless, it hasn't been uploaded anywhere else to my knowledge, so the only way to experience it would be from memory... so it's better than nothing, right? I'm lazy and didn't split up the tracks or anything. I left in all the banter and whatnot - it's completely unedited. You can chop it up yourselves in Audacity if you want.
It's mp3, because I wasn't really sure what else to use...
It's uploading right now. I'll come back and edit this post with a link in about 40 minutes.
EDIT: Here you go... Wilco Webcast from Pabst 4/15/09
Thank you for uploading, but I have tried to download it twice and have gotten error messages at the end of the download saying it could not be saved because the source file cannot be read. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Some of you may want to re-think the decision to not come into town until close to show-time:
-
anyone remember what Jeff said his jacket smelled like? I only remember ketchup and I need it for my review. LoL.
I thought he said mulch, band-aids, and baby food.
-
Thats my only complaint.
They have to know that so many people went to both nights and it was really a buzzkill to hear so many repeats.
I would imagine they know that, just like they know that there were many fans who were only able to attend one of the shows. They can't please everyone.
-
Now it says Shouldn't Be Ashamed. Huh...
I wonder if they flipped the order after giving the setlist to the website people.
-
The Roadcase page says this is War on War. Wonder if they called an audible?
-
-
Don't see a link to the webcast yet.
-
It doesn't; it's a webcast. I mistyped. Sorry, y'all!
I knew that was what you meant. But I don't see that either. Is it still there?
-
I'm pretty sure if you get the DVD anywhere you will get audio tracks from the DVD. Historically Wilco World has put up and maintained bonus tracks for any of the releases which only require inserting the cd (or DVD) into your computer to access.
Cool, thanks. I hope that's the case this time too.
-
WilcoWorld says webcam from MKE on the 15th!
Where does it say that? I don't see it. I believe you, but I want to send the link to some friends.

i'm booked at the Hilton. I used google street view to literally walk around downtown looking for the closest hotel to the venue and places to eat/drink.
is Knoxville like Nashville where you can park at a meter for free on the weekends?
I think so, unless there is a special event going on. There is also a parking garage on Market Square with free parking on nights and weekends.

That may be the best Wilco show I've ever seen, too. It's definitely the best mood I've ever seen Jeff in. Nels seemed a little subdued though. But wow - it seemed like they played 30 songs. The main set seemed a lot longer than usual, but maybe it was just me.
Anyone happen to keep track of the set list? This is out of order, but I know we had Misunderstood, Outtamind (Outtasight), Outtasite (Outtamind), California Stars, Red Eyed and Blue, I Got You, Casino Queen, Hoodoo Voodoo, Kamera, Box Full of Letters, Impossible Germany, I'm the Man Who Loves you, Shot in the Arm, IATTBYH, You Are My Face, Hate it Here, Hummingbird, Company in My Back, Ashes of American Flags, Jesus Etc., Forget the Flowers, Late Greats, Heavy Metal Drummer, Walken, At Least That's What You Said, Shouldn't Be Ashamed... am I missing anything?
