Free To Be You and Me
-
Well, I don't think the Washington Post has ever been considered a well spring of rock knowledge. And this, of course, proves it.
-
I tend to choose "Being There". Only to be reminded, 25 seconds in, that I really don't need to be drinking that much
-
I think they'll pull out "kicking television"
-
I did think it was beautiful that they used "Hate it Here" for their nomination spot.

Definitley go see a doctor. This isn't a condition that will EVER go away. There are things you can do to lessen the annoyance of it, but if its done, its done. Go to a doctor and buy some decent headphones!

"Well, I s'pose your guess, is more or less as bad as mine"

I still can't get over Radiohead. I just can't like 'em. And I've tried.

April 29, 2000 Oxford, MS-Town square--Still my favorite, I even liked the girl I was with

Wilco-6
Tweedy-1

Well, now I feel terrible. I had hoped only to hear the songs. I will try the suggestions and that'll work. I don't post songs ('cause I don't know how), I haven't traded anything, and I had no idea that MP3s could be burned onto a cd. I love the band and wanted to hear some songs that are out there, somewhere. That's all.

Do you know where the hang-up is in the dowloading? Folks around here would gladly help you troubleshoot, if you want to try to describe the problems you're having with it.
Thanks , any help will be welcomed. It appears to be one gigantic text file.anytime I try and download any song. Are they not to be downloaded one by one? Is there a step I'm missing? Are they not Mac compatible?

KICKING TELEVISION

that's what B&Ps are for.
That's a good point. I meant no disrespect with the "all so boring" comment. I was trying not to use the term "computer nerd". I happily admit that I can't figure out the download thing at Owl and Bear and I can play MP3. Knowing that, its frustrating to see how much is there to download and not be able to do it. I can't download it and there aren't MP3s of it: I'm a man without a country Frank.

Well, I've never had any luck at downloading ANYTHING at Owl and Bear. And some of us, or I at least, don't really get all worked up into a frenzy over the difference between FLAC and MP3. We just want to hear it. Its all so boring that those that aren't as well versed in all this computer malarky aren't allowed access to some of the music.

i just pinpointed it. after hearing the line" back in your old neighborhood, the cigarettes taste so good" i was hooked . It was the time , the place, the guitar noise.......... it truly was about "Being There".
Same thing here...that same moment.

Is that Big Pink in yours?

Yes sir

Good list, except for the Shins. I hated that album(I know what's coming so save it). The movie list should have included Zodiac. It was released really early, but it was a great movie.

What does it matter what they record?
The official release will center around the painful mediocrity of Sky Blue Sky, not the brilliance of the band's previous albums.
Yep, time to pull the crack pipe out of yer ear

Right off the bat, not knowing exactly what you're talking about, Wilco isn't "obligated" to do a thing. They could stop playing tomorrow, never leave their houses, not talk to star nor salt of the earth fan alike and the've already done plenty. Grab a beer, put on your headphones and let it do what it do.
