Where does it say that? I don't see it. I believe you, but I want to send the link to some friends.
It doesn't; it's a webcast. I mistyped. Sorry, y'all!
-
Wow. Thanks for the link. I'm getting more and more excited that there is an artifact commemorating the current Wilco live show. Sooo excited for MKE.
-
WilcoWorld says webcam from MKE on the 15th!
-
Well, here we go...
-
The only thing tainting the Wilco legacy is their current Wikipedia image.

"It's a town for losers and I'm pulling out of here to win"
"How does it feel?"
Classic musical moments.

He really is.
Not to take the attention off of Jeff, but in a way I know the feeling.. My band played a benefit for the Special Olympics a few years ago. Those kids thought that we were the biggest Rock Stars in the world! We signed autographs and everything.. It really made their day.... It was a very rewarding experience.
I do, too. My band played at UW-Madison and there was an autistic man dancing right in front of the stage, just having a total blast. The wheelchair that he was sitting in before the show became totally useless when the music started. These videos are great; Neil Young was funny.

The Phil Collins haters need to revisit Say Anything.

Tweedy hates Chicago now that the Sears Tower has been renamed.

I just got this AGIB promo poster from a closing record store (Atomic Records) so I've been on a big AGIB kick. Also, I made a mix of some outtakes for my car and have been really digging Panthers, Let Me Come Home, and I cannot get Wilco, The Song out of my damn head.

I'm so happy it's going to be titled "Wilco, the Song"! Wilco will love ya baby. I think the Bruce album earned its 5 stars. Fricke just praised the new U2 record, too.
-
I was "in" with a ticket at 10, but it was a shitty seat, so I went to refresh and now they're gone...nooo
-
I just won a blu-ray player from UW-Milwaukee! Anyone from MKE or Madison want to buy this thing?
-
best valentine's news ever! Two nights in Milwaukee?! Wilco treats us so well...
-
I'm so giddy...I've already watched it three times. When can I pre-order?!
-
Ibanez guitars are ugly, and so is Satch.
-
I just got around to buying it. "Little Rock Star" and "Honey Bee" are my standouts after first listen. I don't think her songwriting has become "lazy," but just more direct.

Small Western Town- Blueheels (from Madison, WI. I'd recommend checking them out, especially if you're into A.M.)
S.O.S.- ABBA

Like said, Not Dark Yet.

Gross!
Did Bob Dylan die in '76?

personal preference.
i worked in a studio for quite a while myself, trust me, Brendan knows what he's doing and Bruce wouldn't let him do it if he didn't agree or want it that way himself, so put a good chunk of your blame on Bruce himself then.
while i don't like his production on Magic, and D&D is just a boring album despite production, his production on The Rising is just fine for me. not to mention Brendan's great production on Pearl Jam's 4 best albums and his work w/ Rage, Matthew Sweet, and many other acts. Do you have complaints about his production on other artists work, or just Bruce?
and for complaints regarding instrument separation, those complaints would be directed towards who mixed the record, not really the producer (i don't know who mixed those 3 records, i'm sure you could google it)
Did you work at the Terrarium by chance? We just mastered at Magneto. Good folks there.
Regarding the new album, I think he showed brendan o'brien his the songs during Magic sessions and they decided to keep recording during breaks in the tour.

Blitzen Trapper was a great opener for SM and the Jicks. I'm betting they will get on an even bigger bill soon. Hopefully Wilco. They put on an exceptional show in Madison. The bassist and guitarist started banging around their gear as an outro to close their set, which I'm never really a fan of. The drummer was going pretty ballistic, too. Furr is brilliant, and I can see these dudes and Dr. Dog leading a new kind of musical scene. My brother's real name is Trapper, and they were quite humored by that.

It's Alright, Ma (I'm Only Bleeding) in its entirety, my favorite verse being:
You lose yourself, you reappear
You suddenly find you got nothing to fear
Alone you stand with nobody near
When a trembling distant voice, unclear
Startles your sleeping ears to hear
That somebody thinks
They really found you.

Jennifer O'Connor is the name. I have no idea if she's opening at these shows, though.
