I got pit seats for ATL. Now i'm just hoping my friends can get pit tickets. I might also be willing to sell my tix face value. I might not be needing them

I got my ticks today, but a couple of my friends missed the pre-sale. They are wondering if good tickets are left, or if all of them are sold in the Wilco pre-sale. Meaning, Are all the pit tickets sold through Wilco or will Ticketmaster get some too? How does this work? Thanks!

I don't see how you people can say people won't buy those Linkin Park albums...look at the numbers. Look how many people pay money to be in their stupid fan club. They are very dedicated. I predict Wilco will debut 2 at the highest, but more than likely debuting at 3, with a great opening number! 1 would be great. I definitely wouldn't stop listening to them if they were #1. It doesn't mean they are selling out...it means that us fans are so dedicated on supporting the band that we actually buy the album. Dude, I'm not saying I like Linkin Park. I'm not down with the whole distorted screaming chorus with soft clean tone verses. I think they are terrible. I'm just getting a point across that it sucks because they have way more fans and will definitely debut at #1. Just look at the numbers from Riaa.com Linkin Park -- Hybrid Theory -- 10 Million Sold Linkin Park -- Meteora -- 4 Million Sold I would love it if Wilco were to top them, but it aint happenin people.

May 15th was the perfect slot for the guys to release their record and have a great chance at debuting at #1 Until..... Linkin Park decided to release their album on may 15th as well. I know the band and most of us don't care about that number, but it definitely would have been cool if they could have pulled it off. We can forget that now...Linkin Park's fanbase is huuuuuuuuuuge, which sucks. P.S. They were definitely playing SBS at one of the bars I was at tonight. Everyone was going nuts!

I would think so too, but there is alot of people who are getting way too excited because they recorded more than 12 songs...ya know? I'm not trying to be smug. It just really seems that people are getting their hopes up way too quick. SBS hasn't even come out yet. ha

Just to let you guys know, most major recording bands always record over, if not WAY over, the number of songs to appear on the album. If it makes the album, it makes it, if not, it gets stored away for later use, or no use at all. RHCP's Stadium Arcadium is a double disc, and they supposively had over 20 songs that didn't make the cut. I also heard that weezer recorded 40 songs in 2 months. Most mainstream bands are required to record X amount of songs so the A& R guys and top dogs have more power to choose which songs make the cut and what songs don't. Thank God Wilco has their say

It's true, but with my history of albums and my appreciation of them...when something bad sticks out, it's very difficult to push aside. Especially when something is overdone. Too much this, too much that, overproducing....that stuff bothers me. But like I said, The album is pretty good, I just think Nels kinda overdoes it on a few, especially IG.

See, I looooooooooooooved Impossible Germany live. But I just think there is way too much Nels guitar in that song. His solo takes away from the triple guitar solo at the end. The triple solo is so awesome and beautiful, and I really don't like how Nels is playing something different and really chaotic when that beautiful solo is trying to shine. I'm sure it will grow on me, but four guitars is alot

Although it's a good album, I really feel that Nels "overdoes it" on a few songs. But that's just a random opinion.
