isnt it funny how shows with a great setlist have worse sound quality?

  2. i just got a bunch of mp3s that have passwords on them. the trouble is, the original source doesnt remember what it was!.

do any computer savvy people here know of programs that can crack the password and make them playable?. they copy fine but once you try and convert them or play them, you get a punch in the face.

    any ideas? :cheers

  3. coming as a bonus disk in the latest Classic Rock mag,

"a tribute to led zeppelin - 12 weird, wild and exclusive covers of zep classics"

just heard a punk version of Hot dog, a faithful When the levee breaks, bluegrass version of Black dog and now listening to a soulful/punkish Rock n roll :rock

  4. My point was that I dont hear any vast difference in these new records (except that they arent scratched up).

that also depends on how good your turntable setup is.

a friend of mine is a dj (or dj wannabee, i should say). i took some LPs to his joint one day and they sounded much better than what i have at home

Oh shit, this is a major label release on Lost Highway and it looks like it got all kinds of ARIA award nominations and a big push from universal. It's like one of your personal best kept musical secrets going all James Blunt.

damn, if all this publicity works, no chance of seeing this guy in small clubs anymore.

funny with Powerfinger. their guitarist has his own side projecr band and when i was up in sydney in january, he played a small little pub where there were only 20 people in there.... yet Powderfinger, as popular as they are here, play big venues

I can't believe all the "Why Would You Want To Live" least favorites. I dig that tune.

    Seconded. I love that song!

the verses are great for headbanging to a song that isnt a metal tune.

starting from late 2001, the song came to its own with a new dimension when they started playing often again. pity its vanieshed now and there doesnt seem to be a recording of the paris 2004 show
