The fact that they aren't on film together anywhere else makes it worthy of being shown, if for no other reason than that.
-
they're coming home again in a month

anyone wanna set up a trade for it? .. still BT-challenged (toreents, that is
)

Anyhoo, my question is this: What do you all think of Nels' addition to their live sound? Is it better or just different and incomparable, like two different bands?
only seen them once in 2003 with leroy..
i love nels' lap steel playing on tunes like airline and mountain bed... thats pretty much it.

hmm, john takes the lead now by 1 vote

My grandma is older than the planet Pluto. What the hell.
so is mine... 86 years old!

well, 76 years is an average lifespan for someone

WOAH.. if you like the leaked version, the official release has great sound.
it came out in australia today, so i ducked down to the shop as soon as it opened to scab a copy. the sound is much more spread out than on the leaked one. i'm listening to it with fake surround sound on my comuter and its mighty impressive. just wait till i put in the proper stereo later
excellent album if you like old-time pop/crooning, 12 bar blues and some tunes that sound new even to the dylan catalogue

i've heard a few versions and its a hard one to decipher. sometimes it does sound like "one light"..
didnt someone here recently say they saw it written as "what light" on a setlist?.... i might have been pissed at the time

Over rated? Uh... Without Tweedy there is no Wilco. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't Jeff start and organize the band?
.. until nels took over

Note: I do not own Mermaid Avenue II. But also, my ranking does not mean I do not love their albums because compared to most bands they have a fantastic discography that is hard to match.
its worth the price of admission alone for feed of man and mountain bed
