    I don't have enough shows to do it yet but I have anouther great project idea.A 7 disk Tweedy solo acoustic box set.

    where are the colourful characters that populate Dylan's best works? What happened to Samantha Brown, Romeo and Juliet, Othella and Desdemona? Mr. Jinx and Miss Lucy, Old Bill, the waitress with the long white shiny legs have all packed up and left town, only to be replaced by anonymous "you"s and "me"s in most of these new songs.

    this one i enjoyed right off the bat, and while it may not be BETTER than the previous 2, i enjoy it more right now... his vocals are really warm and inviting (so is the production). it's a really funny record in ways too...

    my feelings exactly. TOOM really needed to take time to grow on me. i remember loving Highlands from the word go, which is weird considering its length. L&T was quicker to get into, but the new one hit me straight away. I think Thunder on the mountain is a much better album opener than what the last 2 have. it might not be that much of a strong song, but it really grabs you and prepares you for whats to come..

     

    actually, i might spin it next..

    What, no galaktobourikos?

     

    Galaktobourikos is how I know that there were really Greek gods, and this is what they ate.

     

    dont forget the spanakopita....

    once i start on that, i cant stop eating it. then i feel like i have a brick in my gut the next morning :yes
