  1. Nice set of choices, but im perplexed as to why "waltzing matilda" is absent.

cause bob dylan plays a snippet of it on his harp during Dont think twice... well he did on the 2001 shows here. :thumbup

  2. Can it be done witout expensive software?

any wave recorder can do it.... usually one comes with your soundcard.

i just use the "what you hear" recording option.. make sure you disconnect from the net cause beeps saying you have new mail will also record

  3. people who answer their phone on the train like this: "hello?..... i'm on the train"

people who barge into the toilet with the newspaper under their arm, do their stuff with no shame like they own the place

people who talk to you in the toilets

when a computer mouse develops a mind of its own

people who tell you to turn your music down in the office even though you can barely hear it, and then procede to talk real loud

locking yourself out of the house in the freezing cold and having to wait 2 hours to get in (happened a few days back)

  4. I did some quick numbers on the setlist and they're interesting to say the least. Check it out: MA2-1, AGIB-5, YHF-6, BT-4, ST-1, and new-3. How's that for a varied set?

apart from the first mermaid avenue, havent they got another album in their catalogue? :shifty

  5. "Theologians," is by far the highlight for me. The first time I heard it during soundcheck at the Three Rivers Arts Festival in Pittsburgh three years ago I just about cried it was so good. As far as the album proper, I rarely listen to it anymore and rank it only above "A.M." & "Mermaid Vol II."

yeah, it is pretty good, eh? :lol

i agree about the early version of LTYT.. the vocals were more emotional.

as for AGIB, i probably havent listed to it its entirety for a year, but selected tunes are on my mp3 player and get daily listens (hummingbird, company, theologians and late greats).. muzzle and spiders probably every couple of days

  6. always wanted to do this but you cant put that many smilies into a reply :lol
