"Hey, you know that jerk that yells at Jeff 'Blackeye sucks!', that was me!"
the "I'm in love!" guy, on the other hand...
Are you claiming to be THAT GUY? Don't be THAT GUY, please...
Dear THAT GUY,
Anyone rude enough to yell something like that at a performer while hiding behind a crowd of unanimous people deserves whatever he's got coming to him. No one should pity you because your dumbass was captured on video and distrubited across the globe...
Black Eye rules, you deserve one,
and if you don't think so, drink poison... ... ...

A dramatic reinactment of how Glenn joined Wilco, performed by emoticons:
1999 - Ken Coomer (ex-drummer) stands outside Wilco's recording loft:
Tweedy to Coomer: "Dude, this is your place too," says Tweedy. "$#@% man, where's my paycheck!?" says Coomer.
2000 - Jeff is on tour with Jim O'Rourke...O'Rourke introduces Glenn and Jeff.
Love at first symbol crash: Glenn >
Meanwhile, back at the loft:
Coomer gets a phone call > "What? You've hired a new drummer? I HATE YOU TONY MARGHERITA, I HATE YOU!"
And Wilco lived happily ever after...well, sort of...

Gleen Kotche = Wilco
I think the incredible advances Wilco has made in their music is possible largely because of Kotchke's talent. No doubt that 90% of their great stuff in the last 5 years is unique and powerful because of his godly rhythms.

Jay Bennett would be nothing if it weren't for Wilco so anyone who feels bad for the guy when reporters ask him about it, forget it...he owes a lot to Wilco. That being said, Wilco owes a lot to him as well and I think they know that much of their success before and leading up to YHF can be attributed to him.
Let's all just take a moment and be thankful that post-Bennett Wilco still manages to rock our socks off day in and day out.

Jeff, my deepest sympathies go out to you and your family.
