  1. I'm currently playing Resident Evil 4, and I'm stuck early in the game. I can't figure out how to kill the giant alligator.

Ohh he was tricky. I had problems with him too. Took me abit. There are more hard parts like that. Just gotta get things down really good. You know how to hurt him right?

I love that game. Probably ranks on my all time best list.

  2. It's a rail shooter, like, for example, the Area 51 or Jurassic Park arcade shooters (like you'll get a screen, eliminate the enemies on it, and get moved on to the next area where you shoot more). You don't physically do a lot of moving. It moves for you. You point your wiimote at the screen and shoot. If you really need to you use the nunchuk to put the awkwardly placed enemy (such as Lickers that start walking to you will get stuck on the bottom of your screen) on your screen so you can shoot it, you do it, but it's minimal.

I imagine it to be a lot like House of the Dead but better. I like those arcade shooters.

  3. Umbrella Chronicles is awesome. It's a ridiculously fun and addicting game, and the number of stuff you can unlock makes the replay value high. Plus, it's hard to beat when you have a friend over. Such a fun contest, especially fighting over critical hits.

It works just fine without the Zapper, though I bet it makes it better. The game was pretty easy to find, just go to Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart more than other places because mostly kids and their parents go to Wal-Mart for games, and chances are parents aren't buying kids M games.

p.s. I hear Medal of Honor is terrible on the Wii.

Ok, now I have to get Umbrella Chronciles.

I was never too much into first-person shooters, but I know thats a big genre. I played alot of it earlier and it never really carried over to the home gaming systems for me. Was big into the first Medal of Honor and first Half-Life on the PC. Those were landmark games. Games like Unreal and Halo killed the genre for me.

  4. It is not her that bothers me... sorry. It was her role / character in the film. Either the role was not necessary or she did not do the part justice. I cannot decide, I am leaning to the role not necessary. However Maggie G-something is taking over that role and it might be better.

I think she (Holmes) was great in "The Gift", plus you get to see her boobs.

She was fine in 90210 revisted also.

Cant believe she didnt sign on for the sequel. I dont think her role was unnessecary, maybe overused or too cliche? I didnt have a problem with her role though. Really happy they made Batman cool again. None of that bubblegum kids stuff where the other movies left it at. I am all for making these dark adult side of these popular comics.

I also thought THE HULK was good.

  5. It seemed funny to me that Wal Mart did not have it - as they have the dvd boxsets of the show.

Couldve been sold out, cause it was sold out at Best Buy's in my region. I decided to just go throgh Amazon and not hunt it down. Hoping I will recieve it today. This is a good sign for Futurama. I would really love more full seasons.

  6. that's been rumored a while... but fwiw, Metallica have already denied it:

also, Pearl Jam will likely play at Bonnaroo this year

Pearl Jam would be cool. Metallica not so much. I like early Metallica, but its been a long while since I liked what they put out, so Metallica would be a bad choice for Bonnaroo. LED ZEP would be cool.

Hoping for another great lineup for Bonnaroo 2008.

  7. There are 120 stars, plus one bonus star that you can only get after getting 120. You only need 60 to unlock the last level, though. As for the question marks, those denote "secret stars, " so you just have to do a bit of hunting around the level for different paths to take or hungry lumas to feed or whatever.

In other news, I'm a dork.

Thanks, thats what I thought and wanted confirmation. If you are a dork, I am one too. Sure is fun.

  8. I'm almost done with it. 98 stars or so. It is the most fun I've had playing games since the Nintendo 64 days. A bit on the easy side so far, but pretty incredible all around.

Ok so now at 38 stars.

Yeah, its been fairly easy to me and I hope it to get a little more challenging but its still tons of fun at this level too. How many stars are there?

    I have a help question.

I just started seeing question marks on some stars, what does that mean? I figure it means there is another star at that level but dont know how to get it. I replayed the level and dont see where it is.

  9. I think people just like to pile it on when it comes to Godfather III. Because when I sit and watch it - aside from Sophia Coppola - I'm entranced.

I agree with that. Some parts can be glossed over but I feel the third part of Micheal's journey was totally necessary. It gave a closure to the story.

Looks like LOTR, Star Wars, and Godfather are the KINGS. Takes something really special to come close to this kinda quality. Competition is really between those 3.

  10. 15 days in jail and deportation.

Could have been much worse I reckon, considering the hardliners running the joint. I wonder how much cultural briefing occurs before these teachers begin working in areas like the Sudan.

I say its not that bad considering she was looking at 40 lashes and a year in prison. Glad there is no whipping involved. Deportation is a good thing, why would you stay after that happening. 15 days, psshhh.....

  11. #1 I stood in line outside a Ticketmaster for 17 hours to get Def Leppard tickets.

#2 I Tivo 'The Biggest Loser' and haven't missed an episode.

#3 I have Italian Mafia ties in my close-to-immediate family.

I say #3 but I'm finding Im not too good at this game.
