Flea played with Johnny during those Rubin American sessions. Off the top of my head, I know he played on Cash's cover of "Heart of Gold" on the box set. Speaking of that box set, I need to revisit it. -

Ummmmm. Prairie Wind is terrible? I mean, it's not up there with his greatest work, but terrible? I think CD II is an uneven album. However, I do love "No Hidden Path," "Dirty Old Man," "Ordinary People," and "Spirit Road."

I guess that's the beauty of music. Acid Tongue grabbed me immediately and I wasn't really looking for it to do so. I approached it more as an obligation because many folks here were raving about it. It has quickly become one of my favorite albums of the year. -

I prefer vinyl and in-store. While I prefer those, it's not the way it typically goes down. I own more CDs than LPs and I tend to get more music online. -
