  5. That Rips albums is very good. I'm a big fan of American Band, too, but it came out last year.
  6. Definitive version of "Hitchhiker" to my ears. A proper, physical release for Chrome Dreams would be excellent. (Damn you, Carole King!)
  7. I never warmed up to Class Clown, but Bears for Lunch is a solid record. I think I'm ready to say HDYSH is the best GBV record since Earthquake Glue. Great time to get on board.
  8. Great list. I'd substitute Universal Truths & Cycles for EG. Yes!
  9. Overwhelming but very rewarding listening experience. Most of the album recommendations above are spot on. 11. Television: See No Evil Venus Marquee Moon Glory Little Johnny Jewel (Live in SF '78)

  15. Other than message boards, I had avoided any kind of social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.). My job necessitated that I jump into the Twitter game. I wasn't too enthusiastic about it, but several months in, it's not so bad. In fact, there are several aspects of it I actually like.
  16. The Stooges: I Wanna Be Your Dog Little Doll Loose T.V. Eye Gimme Danger
  17. He's been flooding my Twitter feed lately. Good to see Jay (or his "team") reengage with his fan base in a 21st Century way.
