  1. I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet, but just a heads up...tickets were sold for different seating locations. If your tickets say "Stands" you will not be allowed on the field and the reverse is true for the tickets that say "Field". I received mine through Wilco ticketing and received "Field" tickets, but a lot of people I know who got them through "The Grand" box office received "Stands" tickets. If you would prefer to be on the field, as I would assume most of you would, and have stands tickets then you might want to contact The Grand and see if you can swap them for field tickets.

I have a friend with that issue. He just bought his ticket last week from the Grand and got the Stands GA ticket. They told him the Field GA seats were sold out.

We all have Field GA. I'm thinking we could just shuttle him down unless of course they do the wristband thing. We'll get him down there somehow...

  2. Bobby Brady! I had to reply when I saw this although it has nothing to do with Wilco.

I actually met him after a Grateful Dead concert back in 1984 in Augusta Maine. He was a friend of a friend or something like that and apparently was a huge GD fan. Seemed like a nice kid.

So is he a Wilco fan now also? I guess we'll find out.

  3. That must have been amazing, what a set!

I nearly planned on this show and now regret it...oh well. I have two shows coming up soon. Just have to be patient.

I saw that storm blowing thru Denver on the weather channel and was wondering if/how it affected the show.

    Thanks for the update!

  4. Should be great. Hope the weather holds. It has been a rough summer so far on that front. I posted in the other East coast thread about his venue wondering if this is the first live act there? The set up should be interesting. Think anyone will pull over and throw on the hazards on 95 lol

Hey nice name there hottuna! Back in the day I must have seen Jorma/Tuna etc... 40-50 times.

Anyhow, I'll be there with 5-6 other friends in tow. Can't wait, let's pray this daily thunderstorm pattern takes a break. We're planning on meeting up at Iron Hill Brewery (next to the stadium) preshow for dinner, etc...

As far as other shows at Frawley, there have been a few. If you search online you'll get the website of the stadium owners listing a couple of the shows and showing pics of the layout.

I would expect for this show we'd get the stage setup just behind 2nd base facing home plate.

  5. :dontgetit Yes, the promoter was holding the date at TLA for them probably up until a couple weeks ago.

I suspect the fact that the Neil show did not sell out for the Spectrum tomorrow was the deciding factor.

I saw my first Wilco show there many moons ago. Had to be dragged there by a friend.

    Next time I went willingly!

Imagine the scene there tonight had it gone down. :stunned

    E-mail me directly at:

Thanks for the hijack pal... :ohwell

  7. Plans have drastically changed and now we cannot go, which sucks because I live only 15 minutes away from the Spectrum. :realmad

But I will see the Rochester show on Saturday! :thumbup

These are fanclub presale GA Floors. Face value of course.

    Please pm me if interested.

I will sell in pairs if that's what ya need.

    Thanks all.

  8. Where'd you hear that rumor? Any credibility?

Well, it obviously can't be verified at this moment. But I did get a call yesterday from a friend of someone that has something to do with a local promoter there. And when he said Dec 6th, it sure seemed to be a possibility.

My guess is that there would be other similar off night dates scheduled but not announced until as late as possible as to not affect the Neil ticket sales. I'm sure there's some agreement (which is somewhat typical) that Wilco or any opening band cannot play a date within a certain amount of miles until the primary event sells out.
