100s & 100s of Wilco tickets in the hands of scalpers
ditty replied to Divemistress of the Dark's topic in Just A Fan
I believe the band management tried hard to eliminate scalping for this fall run. It is still very possible tickets for this show, and others, will reappear once management reviews ticket orders and online tickets available for re-sale. I also believe we may see ticket-less ticketing from Wilco in the future. They may have tried this "4 tickets only, one order per address" option first as ticket-less events will cost more in man power and they were hoping to not pass this along to us, the fans. "Draconian" seems harsh, If the band management had allowed multiple orders, tickets would ha -

100s & 100s of Wilco tickets in the hands of scalpers

I agree...I scored AAA orchestra pit tickets on the Frongate pre-sale. The real answer to end ALL reselling is ticket-less day of show entry with the credit card used. This slows the entry process down for us all but eliminates scalping. -
No Jules really motivated me, I have been meaning to try and make it look cleaner for a long time

Signature changed for you

there is no pre-sale info listed on ticketmaster, just regular on-sale Friday

Pre sales were kind to me today 2nd row in Indy Balcony section 11 both nights in Nashville 1st row in St. Louis...really couldn't believe this one! Thank you Wilco, and Front Gate...say want you want but service fees for each of these shows was only $5 per ticket vs. the screwing you see on Ticketmaster of $10 to $15
-
exact opposite here in Indy, instead of $15 service fees per ticket @ Live Nation I paid $5.50 each! Thank you WILCO!

Wilco Murat Theatre at Old National Centre Indianapolis, IN Tue, Sep 13, 2011 07:30 PM I hate Live Nation, I can't ever think of a Wilco show that had multiple price points. US $25.50 - US $43.00 US $25.50 Ticket + US $14.00 Fees = US $39.50 US $43.00 Ticket + US $15.00 Fees = US $58.00

Well…without misquoting anyone too much, Ripple was requested and after that there was a discussion about the Grateful Dead and Wilco fans being similar it the sense we both hit many shows, are very committed to the band and the sense of community amongst us. That is what stuck with me the most. No matter which show I’m at, I get a real feel of community hanging out before, during and after a show with some really wonderful people from all over.
-
WOW, what an amazing night at a wonderful home in Oak Brook. I agree Chris; acoustic Bull Black Nova was incredible, thank you Stan for that request! There were many great moments of others playing with Jeff…I hope you chime in to tell every one of your experiences! One of the great discussions of the evening was the Wilco and Grateful Dead “community” discussion before Ripple. I must say that spending time with all of you is very special. Whether it is in line before a show, sitting & or standing with you at the show or at these special LRS, I feel very fortunate to be able to
