  1. No, not talking opening song...I'm wondering if there is an opening band, and who it might be. I'm not seeing that info anywhere...
  2. I was more asking about the general taping policy, more than the Burn to Shine folks. While some nice pro-taped dvd stuff is nice, who knows if that will ever be released, and if it will be the complete show. If I tape it, it will definitely be shared. I guess I'll find out soon enough if they'll let me in--it's just nice to know ahead of time.
  3. Uncle Tupelo: 1 Wilco: 8? 10? 12? (Not exactly sure, but it's definitely an even number) Tweedy: 1 Autumn Defense: 1 Loverboy: 1
  4. I plan to tape the first two nights. Who else is in?
  5. I taped most of these shows and posted them at Dimeadozen.
  6. I thought the show was great. I'm sure it sounded crappy and felt like low energy up in the boonies, but down front, it sounded great, and there was a ton of energy. I have seen both bands several times, and this was as good as any other time. But with members of Arcade Fire joining in on LCD's set, it may have been better. And ditto on the Talking Heads comments--that was the first thing I thought when I heard that rangly, choppy guitar on the new LCD record.
  7. I stuck 5 or 6 black and white photos in the torrent I posted at Dime. Also, someone used them to make some nice artwork for cd covers.
  8. Don't get me wrong, I love AUD recordings--I have made bunches of them, torrented them, listen to them lots--but if I can get a SBD tape and get my friend to do a mix of the two, I think that's ideal. You really get the best of both worlds--the clean mix from the board, more of the on-stage sound and audience from the mics. Have folks heard the matrix I just posted? I think it sounds great, and compares to many official live releases. Check it out, and let's hear what you think. It's available here: http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=160700 and here (but without the photos
  9. Check out the cool artwork someone made for the torrent I posted: ack--nevermind, I guess pdf's aren't allowed here--what's up with that? and I couldn't post an mp3 sample either--what can you post here?
  10. I have not listened to all of them but the SBD-AUD Matrix I posted up at Dime has to be a contender. It's the Aug 22 show from Troutdale, OR.
  11. Here ya go--the only SBD/AUD mix I know of from the current tour. Enjoy! http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=160700 photos included
  12. The matrix is done! I should get it and post it in the next day or two...
  13. The guy doing the matrix has source 1, source 2 went in the mail today. Not sure what his schedule is like, but he can get it done in one day. Could be done by the end of the week, could take longer... But in another thread, someone mentioned that this show is up at The Trader's Den--go grab it there if you want, but be sure to check back for the matrix, it's gonna sound real nice.
  14. Anyone going to record, than torrent this?
  15. I don't want to be too much of a tease here, but arrangements are being made on mastering this recording and mixing it with another source. If you all want details, I will provide them, but I have had some bad experiences in the past with some very demanding My Morning Jacket fans, so please don't make me regret taping this show, and promising to share it. But I promise that it will be shared. Anyway, it's going to sound freaking brilliant, and should be available in a week or two. Is there a way to post short samples up here--I made a small mp3 file, but it got rejected.
  16. Here's a taste: Hmm, guess not--I was going to post a sample of Too Far Apart, but I guess that's not allowed, maybe I'll post it up on Dime, as a comment in the most recent Wilco show...
  17. Yes--great show! And the tape came out real nice! Here's what I posted in another forum about getting a copy: Anyway, unless you are the guy who was complaining about my mic stand being in your way (the thing is half an inch wide for chrissakes?!?!) I'm happy to hook you up. We had a little trouble with two of the rigs, but my Nakamichi CM300 source sounds pretty nice. I'll probably post it up on dime once I get some time to track it out. Give me at least a week.
  18. Yeah? I got a few people I wouldn't mind seeing dissapear...
