U2 - Live in Rosemont (Chicago), 4/29/1987 Bootleg of the first concert that I ever attended. As I listen now, I realize just how damn good a show this was. It was great.

That was my first reaction, too. But it's starting to grow on me. And the tales that he spins within the songs really do supersede any issues that I might have with his voice, for sure.
