as the shows approach I am still looking for any extra tickets. It doesn't matter which night it is. This would make a great Vanentien's Day gift for my girlfriend! Keep me in mind if you can't make it! jerryskid89@comcast.net

Long live the Grateful Dead!!!!!!!! '89 Alpine Valley was grate! First day hot-n-dusty, Second day rain, third day rain and mud! plenty of woodstocks! One of my all time favorites to listen to is One From The Vault: 8/13/75 Great American Music Hall. The energy as Bill introduces the band is amazing, then they just fire into it!

google it. I have found it that way before. It is the music for someones web page or something like that.

Better yet maybe they will share the stage together in some fashion!

Probably 50/50. I am actually pleased to notice some Deadheads at the Wilco shows I've seen. As a music lover I would think many people would be into, at the very least, the acoustic Dead stuff. Workingman's Dead and American Beauty(both from 1970), are a good place to start the exploration for those who have not heard their music. They were, and still are, true pioneers. This podcast is full of some great stories about life and music.

Check out this podcast from Dusty Wright. Bob is asked who his favorite new band(s) are and he mentions Wilco as a band he ejoys "mightily". It is a great interview. Enjoy! Dusty Wright's Culture Catch I hope this worked!

Thanks, I think your avatar is cool too. Dick had a pretty cool job picking through the vault.

Willing to purchase 2 tickets for any of the nights. email: jerryskid89@comcast.net

The person that bought the tickets is the only one that needs to show an i.d.

So True! I have seen over 20 shows at the Riv and I think it is a very cool place. The balcony offers pretty good seats for those who want to sit, and if you up infront of the large bar things are pretty good as well. My favorite spot is dead center even with the edge of the balcony (best sound!).

The Grateful Dead, Ratdog, Phil Lesh, and probably other bands out there use a mail order system. There are specific instructions on how to fill them out and what to include. You get a money order and send it in through the U.S. Postal Service. The system has always worked fairly well.

It is still early. I have, one too many time, been stuck with extra tickets. There will be those honest people that have come on hard times and need to get rid of tickets. I think all tickets should be picked up at will call, where you would have to show I.D. to get them, problem solved (with long lines)!

There is power in numbers, we need to ban together!!!!!! Boycott the brokers!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have recently started to go see Wilco live with my girlfriend who is really into them. I have known their music, and enjoyed them on the radio for quite some time. We are both pretty upset right now. I realize that it is legal, all I am saying is something should be done. They are swooping in and getting these tickets because its a rare event. It doesn't happen as much for the single show in Anywhere, USA. If the band is interested in their fans seeing these shows there has to be something that can be done. I am suggesting that NO ONE gets tickets from broker sites, even if it means n

It is an outrage! After looking at various broker sites there are hundreds of tickets available for these shows. Prices range from $85-$190. This has got to stop. One way to stop it would be to require that all tickets are picked up at will call.
