I too would love to chat up Jeff sometime and probably ask him some uber-nerdy wilco-related question. A couple of friends and I met Nels before the last Madison show. Of course he couldn't have been cooler. He was waiting for a friend to pick him up to go record music before the show for a side project. I love that guy's work ethic. While bored at work, my friend and I had made up our ideal Wilco setlists for the drive up (from Chi). We happened to have them in our pockets at the time and Nels indulged us by looking them over, making comments, and ended up taking them with him (he was perplexed that "everyone really digs Casino Queen" : ). He seemed genuinely impressed we were going to The Millineum park show the next night on top of the Madison show and told us some of the songs we could expect. What a great addition to an already amazing band.
