Has anyone had any luck getting the audio from the show? I've tried to get it but can't- probably due to user error! I hope someone puts it on Owl and Bear...I have at least figured out how to use that!

Funny, I was watching this (again) the other night and wondering the same thing!

what more can I add? This experience was totally worth every minute of the 9 hour drive from Tulsa...I would do it again next weekend and the next were he doing more shows there! Champaign is a very cool town though a little cold for my blood. My only disappointment came after the show when we decided to hang out to try and meet Jeff. We thought we were smart, waiting by the door where they were unloading everything. Too bad we didn't realize he was already on the bus! By the time we realized that the group gathered over there had just been graced by his presence, he was already back on the bus, closing the door. But, you live and you learn, right? Next time, I'll be right by the bus!
As for the show, Fake Plastic Trees was definitely a highlight, as well as Someone Else's Song sans PA. But then again, pretty much every moment was pretty amazing. Even the "cha cha cha's". Can't wait to hear the recording.

Looks like the weather will be clearing up Friday and Saturday for all the outta towners. Looking forward to it!

You can lay the slide down and move the guitar back and forth over it.
Thanks for that! I just drenched my monitor with the water I was about to swallow....what a funny image!

Having watched IATTBYH and Sunken Treasure too many times too count, I, for one, am beyond anxious for a new Wilco DVD! Cant wait for February.

this thread is the funniest thing I've seen all day!
If Wilco were not a band...how about a six pack of 2 inch tall action figures? I don't know if this counts or not but I think they're incredibly quirky and strangely enough, reflect the band quite accurately!
Nels, Mikael, Jeff, Glenn, John, & Pat

The camera crew was also at the Cain's Ballroom show in Tulsa earlier this year -- they interviewed and filmed several of us in line before the show. Apparently they were the same crew that filmed the "Sunken Treasure" DVD, and there were definitely plans at the time to release a multi-city live DVD. I haven't heard much about the projet since that show, though....hopefully it's still in the works. Not only would I love to have a new Wilco concert DVD, but I'm also hoping for a few seconds of Wilco-fame as they show the crowd in Tulsa!
Me too!! I was at that show as well, right up front digging on Pat and John. Twas quite amazing and I'm so hoping that this thing actually happens...though I guess seeing them at Cain's again would be a sufficient substitution for a DVD.

How cool would that be? "Touring Band" is one of my go-to fave's. A Wilco dvd with the same idea would be a dream!

Most people I know are clueless about Wilco, except for my husband- who I converted! Though at the March show here in Tulsa at Cain's Ballroom, I saw my daughters Nurse Practitioner across the way....shocked me for some reason.
Oh, and last weekend, I was photographing a high school senior (I'm a photographer) who was very into music, very adept guitar player, etc...so I mentioned Wilco and Cain's, and he says, "Wilco...?" and rolls his eyes. So, I was shocked that he actually knew the band and flabbergasted by his reaction. No free wallets for him.

I'm there...section f, row 6. Can't wait!!!

Nope! Foellinger's not sold out yet! Just got my tickets- 6th row in the balcony, though there were still floor seats available but just on the sides. Wish I had looked at the images of the auditorium before though because even the "side" section is not bad. But I'm super excited anyway...first solo Tweedy show, drving all the way from Tulsa and just hoping for a snow free weekend! Cant wait

This is something I'm curious about as well. Can't imagine many things more amazing than being present for one of these Living Room shows.
