Maybe the band is back to work sewing up some Nudie Jerseys.

I almost quit reading when I saw "rock-star paradigm" in the third paragraph. Interesting description of Tweedy as a" discomfiting mash of modest strummer and enterprising explorer."
-
I'll stop repeatedly requesting it then. ... not.
-
My kids got it from our well-worn Schoolhouse Rock video tapes, and started singing it as soon as he said it.
-
Just as long as there's not CNN footage of Tweedy being examined with a flashlight, after they pull him out of a bunker ...
-
The Bloody Mary will work, provided it has a palm tree sized stalk of celery sticking out the top.

Right, you'll stick out like a sore thumb in a wing-and-beer restaurant.

I think his harmonies over the years have brought out the best in Tweedy and added a facet to the sound in which Wilco wouldn't be Wilco without it. There's leaning on traditional harmonies, but he also makes some decisions that take the vocals in sometimes unexpected directions. In that regard he is very much like Rick Danko.

They're the same footage as the Webcast. I thought some of the camera work was pretty intuitive, although they kept it pretty tight on Jeff. -
Just because their last World Series was "Far Far Away," they end up "Misunderstood." The current Cubs "Shouldn't Be Ashamed." Thankfully Lou told them to "Shake It Off." He's been a real "Shot in the Arm." But maybe that's just "Wishful Thinking." If they're "Less Than You think" you only end up "Red-eyed and Blue." "I Must Be High."

You need to edit out his comments highlighted in your reply.

I got the impression Bob Brenly didn't want anything to do with him. He practically humped the Rage's guitar player's leg Saturday.
-
For you fans keeping score at home, Tweedy's jersey number was 3.

Thanks, I should have went to wiki, but I kept tripping over Tweedy in the emperor's new clothes. Was Chicago a one-time deal for the Total Pros? Or will they be following along for the week? -

chicagosports.com -- the Tribune's web site -- has footage going back to 2006 -- IIRC John Cusack is the first archive they have available. Guitarist for Rage Against the Machine did TMOTTBG today -- or at least he stood up there and held the microphone.

What about a beard on your nose?

He made a comment about the Cards at one of the St. Louis shows too. I think they replay the first pitch footage during either the top of the 7th or bottom of the 6th inning as a teaser for the fascinating interviews that cover over the bottom of the 7th inning.

Didn't Jeff make the joke during one of the residency shows about "swinging two bats in the on-deck circle"?
-
d'oh. Now I caught it.

Every time I listen to that album I can't wait to hear Impossible Germany live in person.

Truckin' like the doo-dah man!

Watch me fall, I keep looking at the image you have, and I try to picture Dick Vitale in the front row of A Wilco concert, trying to get Jeff Tweedy's attention.
