  1. Exactly! Love your avatar ( or whatever thats called ) btw.
  2. Thanks! That makes sense about the site being redesigned. Thanks for getting back to me
  3. I haven't been able to access the Wilco Archives in a long time. Whenever I try to link to the site it freezes up and I end up getting an error report. It happens to me on different machines so I've ruled that out. Anyone else having this problem?
  4. Downloading it now. I actually couldn't wait so I Downloaded the MP3 last week. I'll toss it when this is complete. I envy all of you guys in the States that get to see the band often. I doubt they'll ever come back up here.
  5. Thanks! You have a good weekend too
  6. So what you're saying is there is no room here for a critical response to anything because that's negative? I wouldn't bash Wilco on a message board dedicated to them ( even if I did have something negative to say about them which I don't ), but this isn't a Paul Simon board is it? That's just one thread out of many. It's not absurd that his career was struggling because at that time it was. Sounds to me that they didn't want to do it so that's hardly a favorto them is it? Please. They're in a very good place in their career because they earned it on artistic merit, Paul Simon has squat to d
  7. Where have they played? WTF kind of criteria is that to judge artistic merit? You're telling me that Hannah Montana is better than all other bands who sell less tickets? What about Wilco? How great a F'n band are they and yet only people in the know have heard of them. Right? Actually Los Lobos had been a working band for quite awhile and they got a much bigger boost from LaBamba than they did from Graceland. And as far as Simon being a washed up guy - his career WAS at an all time low before that album. having said all that - that album certainly wasn't big because of anything Los Lobos
  8. I don't want to bring anybody down or rain on their parade but like I said, I have immense respect for Los Lobos. If they're saying this then I believe it.
  9. While I still like Simon and Garfunkel and think Simon has written some incredible songs this article has totally tainted my opinion of the man. http://www.jambase.com/Articles/9391/LONE-...-STEVE-BERLIN/1 I have nothing but respect for Los Lobos as one of THE hardest working bands on the planet. If a fellow musician, ones that have the respect of pretty much everybody in the industry, are willing to say this, there's no doubt in my mind it's true
  10. Hey Jim Our paths have crossed at several Mooses/Bear Tooth shows going back to pretty much their beginning. In fact it was you who gave me my very first Wilco live shows I had ever heard ( I had only heard their studio ). Anyways, thanks for sharing this! I can't wait to hear the lossless. I would volunteer to upload the Torrent but I've only downloaded and seeded, I've never uploaded a fresh one. I'm afraid I'd screw up all the checksum fingerprinting whatevers. Thanks again Jim. As always, you're one cool dude.
  11. Ok. Good advice. Guess I was just worried that it might not happen due to only seeing one taper set up. I'll sit tight and try to be patient. Oh, and thanks for the welcome!
  12. so, does anyone know if that recording has shown up or will show up anywhere?
  13. WOW! Talk about a dream come true. Wilco has LONG been my favorite band and I thought I'd never get to see them. Rain or no rain it was fantastic. The only problem was how many idiots have to talk through an entire show. I only spotting one taper. Does anyone know this person? If so PLEASE urge them to post the show on bt tree.
