-
I just want to be Jay's friend. He could use a friend.
-
Only like one or two of us have ever even sat down one on one with Jay. We don't know how Jay is! NONE of you can call him an ass hole because of this or how he "made" tweedy throw up or anything. Some would say some of you guys are assholes.
-
Jay Deserves money and much credit for our favorite Wilco. But Jeff Tweedy Does not deserve to be sued. I just wish they could get along

Bennett just doesnt have the vocals that tweedy has. Bennett has co-written some of their best stuff. But he wasnt fit to be a lead singer. Hes "All That" just in other aspects of music. Not everyone is frontman.

I bought it about a month ago. Just because I had heard the key songs(Box full of letters, Shoulda been in love, I must be high, etc.) but it was the one wilco album I didn't own. I played it once when i got it and haven't put it in since. I love those songs live but that is one I just can't stand really. Too much twang and 90s alt for me i guess. Am I alone??
-
IF you really think about it those who say he was only a rock/country guitarist, he wasn't even there for the Yankee tour which arguably is one of their first "out-there" albums. He was only there for the 90s Alt-country-rock tours. This is what the tunes called for and he just blended. If it werent for him on that album Wilco would be vastly different. And who knows if he woulda toured with them on that tour what crazy stuff he wulda picked up as they got more and more out there. He is essential to Wilco and I love the man. I wish they could make ammends just so that we could get a few mor
